Due to the distinctive lack of support and cooperation within the Dorje Shugden community to bring down the ban, promote Dorje Shugden and safeguard the Dorje Shugden monasteries, we at DorjeShugden.com have decided to terminate all our online activities effective November 8th 2014.
Since its conception, we have spent millions of dollars and countless hours creating awareness through our varied articles, artwork, videos, comics, pendants, statues and other merchandise. However the lack of cohesive support within the community speaks for itself. The consistent unfounded allegations and attacks from WITHIN the Dorje Shugden community have proved disheartening. Everyone has their limits and it appears we have been pushed to ours.
Due to recent events, the sponsors and committee have expressed their displeasure. They have decided that effective November 9th 2014, the following activities will terminate:
- hosting and updating DorjeShugden.com
- Reporting and investigations of the latest news throughout the Dorje Shugden world
- Managing and posting on Facebook and online social media
- Printing of all mail out articles, brochures and various literature. Thousands of mail-outs are printed each month to create awareness
- Costs incurred from postage on mailouts
- Costs incurred from transportation of mail-out items and staff
- Production of statues and images for sale to support the monasteries
- High resolution images for FREE download
- Sponsorship of various Shugden activities
- Sponsorship to individuals who have personally requested DS admin for sponsorship, e.g. plane tickets to teachings.
All funding and the hundreds of thousands of dollars of donations to the Shugden monasteries will also terminate. Anyone else who wishes to continue this work is welcome to do so, on their own and gather their own information and resources.

There is an article on this website with the title “The 5 causes that will bring down the ban”. dorjeshugden.com is one of it. This show how important is the website in bringing the ban down. These 5 causes is like the main pillars that support the structure of a building. If any 1 of the pillar collapse, the whole building will not be stable and in the end the whole buidling will collapse too. Please do not close this website, as the 5 causes dependant on each other to successfully bring down the ban. The ban need to be down so that more people can benefits from the practice of DS.

I don’t know who Lobsang Tenpa is, or what did he do, but if he is an honest monk, he should step out and clarify. If he is of esteem, then friends such as yourself should decide to defend him, do so with ethics, conduct and real evidence that he is actually framed. You might be surprise.
With all due respect to other commenters, if it is our wish to have the website continue running, then it is definite proof that we need to stand united to prove to CTA, to prove to naysayers, that DS practitioners are united. And when 1 of us commits a mistake / breaks a vow, it is up to us all to correct his / her mistake with deep respect and friendship. We need not wash our crimes publicly and socially to allow CTA and or their lackeys to have a chance at us.
Do we need to wake up only when incidence like shutting down of this informative website occurs? No. We wake up now and defend what is right.

What has happen to the motivation of revealing the truth to bring down the ban? My most respected Lama Trijang Rinpoche had kept his vow and did not let give up of this practice although since young he is threaten. If the people behind this wonderful website shutting down just like that, think what will happen to all the people relying on this website for truth and motivation ro continue their practice??

It is unbelievable news and more unbelievable where I hear about this Lobsang Tenpa monk being framed. Why would anyone need to frame him? Is he anyone special, of power, a saviour, going to save all Ds practitioners? What is he doing in the first place soliciting money from public and claiming it is under the monastery and yet the monastery Shar Gaden didn’t even know this! And when the monastery he is supposedly doing the fund raising for ask him for his accounts and evidences etc, he won’t give?
That to me Ian is suspicious. Are you favouring Lobsang Tenpa because may be you have given a lot of money to him in good will and hopes that it is for the right cause? Maybe you have and to know the truth would mean you were fooled and was cheated… oh dear… that wouldn’t be good for your mind. But wouldn’t you rather know the truth?
Why do you call those behind this website liars when all they’ve been doing is to report the truth about what is really happening with Shugden practitioners? Just because they do not reveal their identity does not mean they are liars… can you yourself honestly say that every single Shugdenpa, the protesters, those of many different centres and monasteries are all 100% open with their identities when online? And we all know that this is for security reason and we all understand each others decisions and respect. Hence some monks, nuns, and practitioners from Nkt also hide their ID when they are online too… it’s just common sense to be safe since the CTA wants us all dead. But thanks to 1 monk, we are killing ourselves.
So are you for Lobsang Tenpa or for Shugdenpa? Sounds really childish but it seems this is the case here. If you really think Tenpa has been framed why not help him by asking him to reveal all documents, bank accounts, funds, receipt etc etc online and to his monastery to clear his good name. That shouldn’t be too hard and should be the proper way, and will definitely shut all those who are framing him up! So do things the proper way… help him clear his name but don’t close down a hospital that help thousands of people. That is quite selfish, don’t you think?

Please do not shut down this website. If you do, CTA will be celebrating days and nights cos no one will be exposing their dirty and violent acts any more. More people will be suffering especially DS followers. There are so many DS followers that have suffer so much but they still continue with their DS practice, why DS.com want to step down now?
The financial support of monasteries is very important to ensure continuity of the practice and the training of future DS lama. If this website is down and all the support stop, the monasteries will suffer too. I am sure that no one would want to see this to happen.

Hi everyone, i from Thailand Bangkok. I meet Dorje Shugden in floating market. I fall in love with him when my first meet. I start browsing the dorjeshugden.com try to know more about it.
I Thailand we have a lot differn religion. Sometime i dont know what is correct, what is wrong. My father had a huge altar with all kind of thing…… i feel confuse .
Finally i learn up more and more here. Father older and older….. he have a lot of sickness. We meet up ‘ Achan Tong ‘ he told us is time for my father to pay back, we lost ,sad ,scare , no way to go. Our family got this website, we try to find the temple, but in Bangkok we cant found it.
Only place get infomation to practise in the website. Please dont close. Our family need you. We also invite statue from here. You my helping hand.

If he is clean, I’m sure he’ll know what to do, but there are thousands of Tibetans who are illiterate, old monks and Geshes who are sick, have diabetes, who don’t even speak a word of English that are getting abused by the CTA and the fanatical DL followers! I for one always like the news reported by ds.com here and on the social media platforms… they have been so far the most informative and always remain unbiased, presenting fact, evidence and good logical questions for us to think. The middle way approach they say… well it is good and we should keep at it because not everyone who comes to check the Shugden news out are Shugden people, so we also give them space to understand the situation and not shove it down their throats.
The way I see it is that everyone has a different method, style and presentation to bring the ban down. Every Shugdenpa that is working hard for this goal is a courageous hero, but we must never forget that the motivation is to do it for the benefit of others, not for personal aims.

I love this website and i believe there are many who love it as well. It have been my source of information and getting my weekly fix on what is happening to the DS world. It would be a shame if this website is to be shut down because many people would not be able to access to these valuable information.
To shut down just because of one monk who is dishonest is not worth it. It will deprive many of this information bank. We should all rally with the monastery to have the monk reprimanded for the embezzlement of money.

I don’t knew any administrator in this website but I know this website provided huge and widely Dorje Shugden knowledge, history and background, latest update, activities, information and other important sources of Dorje Shugden. Many people relied on this website especially the practitioner who suppressed by non-Shugden supporter, DS.com seem like their spiritual home. They can find a piece of peace from this website; they can feel safe comfort through this website. How can you just simply close it without think about the needs?
Many new practitioner like me, not easy to get accurate information in the net, this is one of the most neutral website I ever see. How can you so easy to give up a website which can benefit million or billion people?

When I first hear about Dorje Shugden few years back, what I heard is all about the negative part of him and it seems like the truth, until I get to know this website, I learnt that what’s really going on and the truth surfaced. SO many people got helped by Dorje Shugden.

Apparently there are too many liars and rumors out there and many people creating harm to others especially the Dorje Shugden practitioners, I hear news about them being harmed throughout the past few years, got beaten up, harm by weapons, and all sort of ways. Do they deserved to be treated this way?
This website is the only place where I saw people speaking up for them, the truth behind the truth of what’s going on, I’m amazed by how the Admin got all these news and yet, they are not lies, it helps to clear so much in our mind about Dorje Shugden and the ban issue.
This site is the only hope for the Dorje Shugden practitioner, the only place for them to see the clear sky. I wish more people to come to give their support to the practitioner and spread words around the world of how unfair treatment they got and all the hypocrites out there, stop imposing more harm to them, if you are His Holiness Dalai Lama follower, then do as what he taught, as shown in the quote below.

It is totally unacceptable that something so precious has to be abandoned due to the lack of support and attacks by some irresponsible and so-called Dharma practitioners! I sincerely hope the owners of the website will reverse their decisions to terminate the website. These attacks had arisen due to its overwhelming success, usefulness and huge popularity. Dorjeshugden.com should be very proud of its accomplishment to date. Dorjeshugden.com has become a premier website; a force to be reckoned with! There is no doubt about it. Even the Dorje Shugden opponents, including the Central Tibetan Administration, found it a threat that they would want to constantly attack it!

I can’t believe this news. WHY are you guys shutting down?
I’m new, like about 8months old new. A friend introduced me to this website, and I’ve learnt so much from here, especially on the wonderful spread of the lineage teachers. No other Shugden website or none Shugden website has this type of info and all the teachings and practices which are so clear and easily available.
Those who have worked quietly behind the scenes to create this hub of information are truly heroes, I applaud you and appreciate you guys. I get so much info and news from here more than any where else, please do not listen to negative people because this is samsara and they are everywhere. It should never stop compassion from spreading, it never stop truth from spreading, it has never stop our protector Dorje Shugden from caring, otherwise He is not a Buddha and Buddha is not a Buddha. Hence we should not stop this good work.

Lobsang Tenpa prayers not going to help you if you have done something wrong and prayers will also not help you also if you have done nothing wrong… you have to show proof and evidence to show your sincerity and honesty and you didn’t do what they say.
Lobsang Tenpa, because of you so many of us going to lose out and lose this precious website that is like a voice for all of us Tibetans that are being threatened every day. This is sad and surprising news indeed. I urge the Admin to reconsider the tremendous amount of benefits and alleviation of sufferings this website has been able to give to all Dorje Shugden practitioners around the world and especially to the Tibetan communities in India and elsewhere, especially the DS Monasteries.
Whatever is happening, I feel one person and his small ban of supporters are not enough a reason for this site to be shut down and certainly since this person has taken advantage of the monastery, we should be steadfast and continue to benefit the monastery instead.
I strongly think this site is the most relevant source of information and news for all Dorje Shugden partitioners and the teaching of the Buddha, the Dharma anywhere in the internet and I have benefited tremendously from it.
May we continue to support this site and bring down the ban and may the administrators change their minds from this decision.

The right thing which is incidentally extremely simple to accomplish if only parties had the same will, is for Shar Ganden and NKT to investigate since Lobsang Tenpa and Abby Cricton are from Shar and NKT respectively. It is only by their standing provided via their association with Shar and NKT that they were able to raise any money. Investigate and publish results and accounts instead of hide and protect the culprits.
As to whether this site closes or not is of no concern to me. It is nothing more than the same people talking to one another and stroking egos along the way.

My whole family have been ostracized by CTA, Dalai Lama followers, anti Shugden throws stones at our house. So much difficulties for child to go to school and even going to shop to buy things is hard. Getting work is not easy also. So many things happen, a lot of family split, no one is really doing anything to make the Tibetan Govt stop. This website help to tell our story and becos Dalai Lama peple see this website, they also more careful and not do so much harm becos everything they do get reported here very fast and whole world will know and can share of face book. I dont know who is this Losang Tenpa, but why western people so easily believe him? How many years he been a monk and helping monastery? How come monastery did not have project under monastery name, your project not even on monastery face book? But you say to people it is for monastery, so if for monastery, why Shar Gaden don’t do it and advertise it themselves on their face book and website? WHy you dont want to show your monastery your accounts? What is there anything wrong and need to hide? You give very bad image to western monk and people. Very bad.

When I first see this post, I cant believe what I’m reading. I can’t believe that this site is shutting down. But WHY ? This site really is very informative, at least I learn and understand more about what’s happening when I read posts on dorjeshugden.com
I am quite new to this site, I really enjoy reading and learning up about Dorje Shugden.
Knowing all the things that happened. Knowing that the monks and tibetans who suffered from this ban. I think that we need to continue to pursue, the ban has to be lifted! I don’t think its only me that has benefitted from this site, I believe that a lot of Dorje Shugden practitioner will definitely feel a lot better knowing that this site exist, that someone is there to support them so they don’t feel alone. This site has benefitted a lot of people!
There are always people who agree and also people who disagree. Haters always exist. We need to stick together, stay strong and lift the ban! I humbly hope that DS supporters can comment on this post, express your support and share how this site has benefitted you. I hope that admin can reconsider about the shutting down of this site. Losang Tenpa aka Tenzin Sungrab aka Sangha Jewels aka Dharma Bridge Foundation aka Duke aka Darrick R. Okkelberg is responsible for all the trouble, rumours and anti ds.com rhetoric. He did this while embezzling money from the donations he collected on line supposedly for the monasteries. He should have been friends with ds.com or just keep quiet and embezzle. Don’t make big enemies everywhere you go. Now his information and criminal record is floating all over the internet and CTA. He will damage Shar Gaden Monastery, Segyud Monastery and Phelgye Ling Monastery. These are the monasteries he online fundraised for and embezzled. He has been arrested 17 times and convicted. I think this website needs to close because the people that run it are all liars who want to destroy the reputation of an honest monk Lobsang Tenpa. The fact that the lama responsible for this website seems ashamed of his support for Shugden is another reason. I like the website but I’m afraid the people behind it are not to be trustsed.
I find your comment rather contradictory and full of self-defense. Are you trying to be diplomatic in saying that you like this website just so your ‘reason’ for this website to be shut down will look reasonable and neutral? It is amazing how you say you like this website but at the same time you think the people behind this website are all liars, so you like a site full of lies?
Do you know the people, especially the lama, behind this website personally to make your obvious false allegations? What makes you think that He is ashamed for his support for Shugden? Do you not realised that this website is a platform to share information on the Dorje Shugden controversy and the sole light and platform for all voices to be heard, regardless of lineage, school, nationality etc? It is not a self-promotion website of how great the lama and the people behind this website are, but how much they wish not to take credit but work solely towards bringing the truth of the Shugden communities to the world. Isn’t this the biggest support they are giving to the Dorje Shugden communities? People need to know what is really going on, including you, and dorjeshugden.com is doing just that all for FREE! None of you, Losang Tenpa or Ian Povey, have mentioned how you have contributed towards that but merely making comments to glorify yourself!
It is very ridiculous that a sound and solid website full of accurate information on Dorje Shugden is forced to be shut down because of JUST ONE person, Losang Tenpa, a person who has claimed to support the Shugden monastery but has failed still until today to prove where all the donations really go to. If Losang Tenpa is clean, he will be able to openly shows the account and immediately be freed from the ‘accusation’, wouldn’t he? Don’t forget he has 17 criminal convictions and his partner Abby Citron has 9! Notice how Losang Tenpa is always with young monks also? Isn’t it obvious that he might also potentially a paedophilia who uses the young monks to garner more funds and to enjoy their company, sexually? Losang Tenpa and Abby Citron’s criminal convictions might be the past, but snakes do carry their venom with them, ALWAYS!
Obviously, to you, Losang Tenpa’s reputation is the only thing that is important and you like to emphasise, because the reputation is important in order for Losang Tenpa to continue to raise funds and to take advantages of the monastery. Perhaps you are one of the benefactors of his donation schemes and you are here to support his crime so that you can secure your slice of cake!

I am a shugdenpa. I respect dorjeshugden.com because it never put down the dalai lama when fighting for the ban to be lifted. Please all shugdenpas and khampas give your support to this website. I understand what your frustration come from, but I still request you administrator can consider don’t close down DS.com because this website can help millions of people who needed. To me, DS.com is a tool which likes vajra and bell; it cannot separate with all Shugden practitioners. The Shugden practitioner cannot live without DS.com because it likes their heaven.
As a Dorje Shugden practitioner, this website is their heart beat, if the heart beat stop then everything will stop gradually. Then die off. So I hope DS.com understand what I mean, you guys cannot stop without any proper preparation. It will be very hurt and seems like destroy the small Shugden world. People will isolated us if this happen!
