I was told by a reliable source that HH The 14th Dalai Lama no longer visits HH Trijang Rinpoche's ladrang in India to pay His respects and to make offerings. For a very long time until the year 2009, HH Dalai Lama has been consistently visiting HH Trijang Rinpoche's ladrang every year.
But from year 2010 onwards, HH Dalai Lama has stopped going to HH Trijang Rinpoche's ladrang..I wonder why!
I personally believe HH Dalai Lama wants to visit HH Trijang Rinpoche's ladrang very much. But because He needs to be consistent with His stand on Dorje Shugden, He decided not to visit the ladrang anymore with a heavy heart. I strongly believe HH Dalai Lama banned Dorje Shugden's practice for a greater cause.
Hence for HH Dalai Lama to forgo visiting the ladrang especially when HH Trijang Rinpoche is His Guru must be very painful.
