Dalai Lama, how come there is no dialogue with Dorje Shugden Followers?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtRe1rZqNcA

Is this the culture of peace that the Dalai Lama is preaching?  Why the discrimination and hypocrisy?  If the Dalai Lama applies the 4 points mentioned in the video, the ban is lifted, then there will not be any more demonstration.

Yes, Dalai Lama Truth always prevail!

Dalai Lama preaching on “conviction, sense of oneness, open mind, developing a sense of concern of their wellbeing, compassion, tolerance the source of inner strength”.

But why Dalai Lama has not implemented this? Why his government has not act as what he thought?
Why separation and violent happened to the Shugden practitioners? All the violence recorded with proves. Why Dalai Lama teach and ask the outside world all those but not his own people?
What Dalai promoting and teaching is so contradicting with what happen to his own people that being outcast and tortured, be it young or old, male or female.

Out of so many Dalai Lama mentioned what we need is only a dialogue to go through this once and for all and let it be a Global streaming and let the world witness the truth and the outcome!

It’s long enough of suffering for the Shugden practitioners and so to the anti-Shugden which not benefiting them in anyway but huge negative karma from their action and broken samaya with the Guru and their lineage. It’s too much to suffer, be it the ordained or the laymen which involved their family members and friends.  Watch the recent interview of how a mother separated with her children and beaten up by the anit-shugden (http://www.dorjeshugden.com/forum/index.php?topic=4984.0). It’s so shameful and unhuman act. Is a truly shameful act from the anti-Shugden.

Very good post Icy. Thanks

Why no dialogue
1) How to have dialogue and tell people there are actually ban on Dorje Shugden
2) How to have dialogue and tell people that the CTA are actually bullying own Tibetan in the refugees camp
3) How to have dialogue and tell people that people who pray to Dorje Shugden do not get sponsored from China, that is the reason they are still in Indian as refugees and in a poor state
4) How to have dialogue and tell people the Dalai Lama is wrong that DS is a Dharma protector?
5) How to have dialogue and tell people that they are unable to FREE TIBET thus DS is a scapegoat?

CTA definately will not let this "lose face" image occur

Well, logically speaking, if you were the Dalai Lama and your main agenda is to uphold the ban against Shugden practitioners despite having no real valid reasons for it, wouldn't you deny a dialogue?

I am not trying to justify the Dalai Lama's actions but understand why the Dalai Lama would deny dialogue. Anyway, the ban has no real logical reasons if we examine it closely based on the Dalai Lama's reasons. So there's really nothing to debate or have a dialogue about. I think it would be better to highlight how beneficial is Dorje Shugden's practice and to highlight the injustices of the Dorje Shugden ban. No point trying to speak to the Dalai Lama as he evidently does not want to talk or discuss about the ban.

The Dorje Shugden ban is propped up by a lot of misdirection, false information and plays on the deep seated ignorance of the Tibetans. They don't know what they are doing, and hence they can be fed lies and incorrect information. The Dalai Lama do deserve the admiration from many buddhists and the Tibetans, for all he has done for the Buddhist world and the Tibetan cause.

However in this day and age, correct information and knowledge is King. Which leads me to think perhaps the Dalai Lama brought this ban about to train his people not just to swallow words from leaders and people who are of authority, but to listen, check and digest the information given to them. The times where peasants/serfs just took their feudal lords speech and words as LAW has to come to an end. As a responsible Buddhist one cannot just believe something or apply something until they have checked it out. Therein lies the compassion of Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama is compassionately teaching his people on how to discriminate between white and black, and truth and untruth. Wish the Tibetans can wake up to this fact as soon as possible.

We are not asking the Tibetan people to fight the Dalai Lama, we are asking them to apply the Buddha Dharma and to think before they act. Manuy of the violence physical or mental on Dorje Shugden is because certain quarters of people do not think at all.

even if there is a dialogue being held with Dalai Lama and the Dorje Shugden group, what would be the outcome? since HH implemented the ban, for sure HHDL will never back down from the ban because of dialogue, because if Dalai Lama do so the Tibetan community will be have negative perception towards him. Even i would think with such dialogue held, more attacks on Dorje Shugden practitioner will occur because of some quarter will misinterpret or twisting the fact on such dialogue!

this is just my simple view.

Dear His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama,

You are a world renowned Nobel Peace Prize Winner for Peace, Tibetan Buddhist, Tibetans Leader, Lama Tsongkhapa Lineage Holder,  Buddha Shakyamuni's disciple, a pure monk who uphold all your Refuge, Pratimoksa, Bodhisattva, Tantric and Monks vows, most of all the emanation of chenrezig - the Buddha of Compassion.

If you are all the above,

1) Why are you discriminating against Dorje Shugden practitioners? Dorje Shugden practioners are also sentient beings. You are not being equanimous.
2) Why are you not practising compassion for the Dorje Shugden practitioners?
3) Why did you disparage against Lord Dorje Shugden (who is non other than Lord Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom) saying that He is a spirit?
4) How could all your gurus and Gelug lineage lamas be wrong about Dorje Shugden?
5) How can you ostracize the Dorje Shugden monks and nuns who are the lineage holders of Buddha Shakyamuni?  In this degenerate age, it is very rare to find pure practitioners let alone the sangha communities.
6) Why are you not having dialogues with Dorje Shugden followers to resolve this ban once and for all?
7) Why are you causing so much sufferings to the Dorje Shugden followers?
08) Why do you not allow the Dorje Shugden followers their religious freedom?
9) Why do you not respect the human rights of the Dorje Shugden followers?
10) Why had you forced so many Dorje Shugden followers to break their samayas with their gurus through this ban?
11) It is proven beyond any doubt that all the grounds for the ban are baseless.  Why are you still denying this?
12) You have the religious freedom to abandon Dorje Shugden.  Why can't Dorje Shugden followers have their freedom to practise Dorje Shugden?
13) Why are you allowing the pro-Dalai Lama supporters to attack the Dorje Shugden followers?
14) Why do you allow Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) to incite violence towards the Dorje Shugden followers?
15) All Tibetans revere you as their spiritual and political leader. This includes CTA.  No one dares to go against you despite the above. You are the only person who can lift this ban. If you don't lift the ban now, the ban will be lifted in due course in the future anyway after His Holiness goes into parinirvana. Why not lift the ban now to lessen the suffering
of so many practitioners?
16) Why are you tarnishing the image of Tibetan Buddhism especially the incomparable Lama Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden lineages?
17) Your actions do not accord with what you have taught.  Why are you damaging your reputation as well as the faith of so many of your followers worldwide who are inpired by your teachings on love and compassion?
18) Do you not care for the welfare of the Tibetans in exile? CTA is only concerned with enforcing the ban on Dorje Shugden and not the least bothered with the future of Tibetans in exile.  What has CTA accomplished all these years?

The list above is not exhautive!

Please Buddha of Compassion, can you have compassion for the pitiful Dorje Shugden followers who are not asking too much but just the religious freedom to practise? Lift the ban please!

EXACTLY... that is why there will never ever be a dialogue and how the CTA Sangay lied through his teeth saying that they've tried to have dialogue with us for many years... is whole lot of baloney!!! http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/features/tibetan-youths-question-dorje-shugden-ban/

Look at Sangay facial expression and body language throughout the whole question-and-answer session!

Why do they take the whole world as idiots I cannot understand... yet they are the ones looking like one!

There should be an open, fair, and peaceful dialogue between His Holiness the Dalai Lama's party and Dorje Shugden practitioners. Everyone should sit down peacefully and talk about the issues and find a resolution towards this so that the people are able to live together harmoniously.

There should be a peaceful dialogue between the CTA and the DS practitioner because this ban has created so much suffering especially the Tibetan who reside in India. This ban has to put a stop so much pain and tears for the practitioner all around the world.

The Dalai Lama seems to be a big advocate of dialogue. An example to back up this thought is this article on News | The Office of His Holiness The Dalai Lama where the Dalai Lama says that dialogue is the only way to solve human problems.

So it is baffling as to why the Dalai Lama has never accepted any dialogue with Dorje Shugden practitioners. Could it be that he does not want to be in an awkward situation if he is asked these questions during the dialogue session??

1) your root teacher gave you Dorje Shugden practice and you stop everyone from practicing. Does that mean your teachers are wrong and gave you the wrong practice?

2) and if they are wrong, does that mean that the entire Gelugpa lineage is wrong because Dorje Shugden history can be clearly traced all the way back to the 5th Dalai Lama's era?

3) why is it that as a Dalai Lama you can over ride Dorje Shugden practice given by teachers to their students? Are you encouraging them to break their samaya with their teachers? why is it that only samaya with you is important?
