As Dorje Shugden worship grows, it is possible to have different iconography for His images.  In the same sense Shakyamuni Buddha images also appear in different forms.  Changes are made sometimes due to the artistry of the country and what is then in trend. Very often it is also the artist's view of the deity.

Whatever iconography is shown, I believe that it originates from some historical original depiction of the deity. I would personally choose to have on my altar the one that I am attracted to.  You will always know the one that you will love to have your eyes on all the time.
