A Living Avatar revered by millions worldwide
« on: June 02, 2013, 12:48:35 PM »
Recently I read about this latest Hindu Guru, a young and charismatic Paramahamsa Nithyananda.

Here is an online introduction of him:

"Paramahamsa Nithyananda is a global leader in the science of enlightenment.Nithyananda is revered as a living avatar (divine incarnation) by millions worldwide. He is the most-watched spiritual teacher on YouTube.com with more than 14 million views, and the author of more than 300 books published in 27 global languages. Nithyananda has been named among the world's top 100 most spiritually influential personalities of 2012 by renowned esoteric magazine 'Mind Body Spirit' from Watkins.

A spiritual genius with an enlightened insight into everything from management to meditation, from relationships to religion, and from success to spirituality, Nithyananda brings to us a wealth of practical wisdom, meditation techniques, kriyas and tools for lasting inner transformation. A trained yogi, a powerful spiritual healer and a siddha, Paramahamsa Nithyananda is working actively with scientists and researchers worldwide to decode the mystical yogic sciences of the East, including levitation, teleportation and manifestation (materialization)."

I must say this young Guru is really making a new wave if the below statement is true...

"When Paramahamsa Nithyananda ascends the traditional seat of teaching (Dhyanapeeta Mahasamsthana Avathumvara Simhasana) every morning and starts his teaching sessions (satsang), thousands of people from over 30 countries participate live via 2-way video conferencing. Also, people from 150 countries watch the streaming of recorded videos every day on Nithyananda.tv "

Perhaps the modern societies is looking for a way out of this madness, high-pressured living styles...

And along comes this young, good-looking and charismatic Guru that promises of a holistic serene lifestyles...

He even offer instant remedy in his 21-day "Inner Awakening" meditation program; I guess this kind of approach really hit home with desperate people that looking for quick fix...

Small | Large

This is too good to be true?
Maybe it really works... otherwise why millions drawn to him and follow his teachings daily?

Nothing to lose, try it for 21-day, why not? Agreed?

"Carry home the transformation of a lifetime". That is the tagline. This sort of sums up the "program". That is to have a better live. In so far as this life is concerned there is nothing wrong with that, as all beings want happiness and not suffering; we are thought as buddhist the strive for more than the happiness of this life. We want a good future rebirth, complete liberation or Buddhahood depending on the individual aspirations and capability.

This "living Avatar" is propagating a happy "this life", which I must say attracts a whole lot of people who is not well versed with Buddhism.

To me, I won't comment on the Guru himself as I don't know him enough, but on the surface at least he seems to be doing some good ie bring happiness and alleviating sufferings of the body and mind or many....if it works that is!!!
