Meditation in Action
« on: June 26, 2013, 12:02:18 PM »
By Headspace

Mindfulness will undoubtedly help you get some headspace and make a difference in your life. But there’s another good reason for training the mind. Whether we like it or not, we share the world in which we live with other people and, unless we want to live as a solitary yogi or hermit in the mountains, we’re always going to have to interact with others.

Today, we will be focusing on romantic relationships. How can we approach the search for ‘Mrs/Mr Right’ with awareness and presence? How can we apply a mindful lens to every stage of a relationship, no matter how exciting, gut wrenching or warm and fuzzy it may be?

Came across the above article.
Yes, we are not alone in this world; so we need to practice mindfulness every step of the way.

What is your opinion?

Learning about mindfulness is a way to alleviate sufferings. Buddha discovered the relationship between consciousness attention and mental health.Buddhist tradition for effective application of any mindfulness meditation works because of the meditator holding certain concepts in their minds while practicing. There is a real relationship between mental health and the act of directing conscious attention in the present moment to thoughts, emotions, and feelings .Buddhist practices and concepts are validation for thousand of years ,so Buddhist should not feel threatened.
