More Than A Feeling of Emptiness?
« on: October 25, 2013, 01:23:24 AM »
This six minute video will open your eyes to a world normally hidden from cameras. A hard hitting dose of perspective of what unsustainable demand looks like.

Warning: You may have a feeling of emptiness inside after watching.

Speechless watching the video.
At every step of their lives, all animals should be treated with compassion and protected from suffering. Sadly, billions of farm animals lack even the most basic protections under the law. While we fight for stronger laws, we can make a difference today through more humane farming, welfare-conscious shopping and reduced consumption of animal products.
More than 99% of farm animals nationwide are raised in factory farms. Factory farms are large, industrial operations that raise large numbers of animals for food. These farms focus on profit and efficiency, rather than animal welfare.

A simple way to stop all these is just be a vegetarian. Stop the demand for the supply. It’s straight forward and the most effective. Watching that video make me think that they are also living being that want to live, want to be love, want to be friend…so why torture them and sacrifices them for our thirst of meat?
If we really don’t know how to take care or love the animals but at a very minimum we should not harm them as we don’t want to be harm as just how they are in the video.
