Yes Brian, you and I may find it freakish that these people obviously are enjoying their live foods. 

What turns you off, others find relish. One man's meat, is another man's poison.

Watch the video of the youngsters kicking the poor puppy around. These people have sick minds. Do they not know that these are your pets, your friends, your companions? And are not to be treated this way? What knd of upbringing were they exposed to?

This is Really is not a situation that  anyone would want to be in ......Being Forced by someone or something to be burn  alive or still with full consciousness is really an inhuman act. Imagine how much pain or suffering  is inflicted on an animal when cook alive.Buddhist believe in reincarnation,therefore we must emphasize on inter relatedness,any sentient being is another sentient being's child and that sentient being may have been  our mother in our previous existence.

We should treat animals as we would treat humans - with respect. Animals have feelings too. It is so heart breaking to see the octopus being "eaten" alive. I am sure the octopus is suffering terribly. How can someone even enjoy such a meal.  They are creating so much bad negativities for themselves and bad karma too.               What goes around comes around. If only they have Dharma in them.
