It's wonderful that so many are getting blessings from HHDL. I must admit, despite all the problems going on from the ban, I am happy for those people and places He goes to for they get imprints and such blessings.  Especially those that were deeply affected by disasters.

His Holiness Dalai Lama is first and foremost a Buddhist monk and a teacher at that. His main role to the world is to spread the teachings of Buddhism to anywhere in the world where teachings are requested, sponsored and needed. As a Bodhisattva, it is in his every cell in his body, speech and mind to share kindness, love, care and compassion to the world.

The Dalai Lama is the face of Buddhism although HH is from the Vajrayana school, specifically, Gelug. There is no other person in the world who's representation of Buddhism surpasses the fame of the Dalai Lama. Regardless of the Dalai Lama's ban on the practice of Dorje Shugden, we cannot defame the Dalai Lama because it will create many doubts in the general mass' mind on Buddhism. All of us ultimately want more people to benefit from the teachings of Buddhism so that they can have an opportunity to be Enlightened. By destroying the image of the Dalai Lama, it will backfire on us Buddhists. We will have to start all over again what the Dalai Lama has tirelessly worked for, for the past 4 decades in promoting Buddhism. Please don't forget that the entire purpose of protector practice is to help practitioners clear outer and inner obstacles in order to practise the dharma.

Therefore, a middle way is better. Focus on religious freedom and request the Central Tibetan Administration to stop the ostracisation of Shugden practitioners. Religious freedom is a basic human right and no one should be condemned based on their choice of religion.

The following is the traveling schedule of the Dalai Lama for year 2014 as of now. We can clearly see that the Dalai Lama works tirelessly to promote Buddhism and plant the seeds of Enlightenment to millions of people worldwide. Who will replace the Dalai Lama in promoting Buddhism worldwide if we destroy the image of the Dalai Lama? May I humbly request for all to think.

The fame of HH Dalai Lama is not an issue at all, i am happy that all people who have the merits to meet him and get blessings from HH. HH is a very popular figure and it is imperative to have people getting a correct image of HH as a major benevolent to the society, not a political figure that gives a lot of pain to Dorje Shugden practitioners. May the ban be lifted very soon so that sufferings of all the Dorje Shugden practitioners can be eradicated.

I rejoice so many people can get benefit of dharma teaching from HH Dalai Lama. No doubt the ban on Dorje Shudgen did created a lot of sufferings to the practitioners, however I agreed that no prejudice against the HH Dalai Lama's teaching. I just sincerely hope that more people open their mind and get to know what is this ban about. More people can respect the basic human rights on religious freedom. I believe the day to lift the ban on Dorje Shudgen will not far if more people request for it.

It augurs well for the growth of Tibetan Buddhism with the arrival of HH Dalai Lama in Japan. No political meetings or discussions, just pure Dharma for the betterment of humanity.

The Japanese and others who will be present at the events where HHDL will be participating are very fortunate indeed. Tsongkhapa's Concise Stages of the Path to Enlightenment, Geshe Langri Thangpa's 8 Verses of Training the Mind and Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva are very precious teachings to be transmitted by HHDL. HHDL had even planned for a Vairocana-abhisambodhi Initiation!

HHDL's presence at the prayer ceremonies will bring much blessing, support and encouragement for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami. And finally the conference with the scientists will enlighten the scientific world with the Buddha's profound teachings on the human mind.

HH  Dalai Lama is one of the greatest spiritual leaders of our time in the promotion of  peace, harmony.tolerance and humanity.
With so much bad news we faced today ;the constant awareness of fear and tension should make any sensitive or compassionate person question seriously the progress of our modern world.
HHDL's spiritual approach may not solve all  problems that have been caused by the existing -self centered approach, but in the long run it will overcome the very basis of problems that we faced.
Rejoice to the Japanese people and others who will be at the events.
