Thank you Icy for sharing the information.

It is very fortunate to be able to listen to the teaching of HHDL with the help of the advancement of technology. I wondered, is HHDL using his ‘skillful means’ to let us, the DS practitioners who are not allowed to listen to his teaching still have a way to listen to his talk? hehehe

In the public talk entitled “Human Compassion” on 10-Oct, HHDL began his talk by saying that “I always refer audience brothers & sisters. Why? Actually, we should develop the sense of brotherhood & sisterhood, not just with our surrounding people… but with the entire 7 bil human being…. and recognized oneness of humanity, human being… Mentally, physically, emotionally, we all same.  You want happy life, I want happy life… We all have the rights to achieve that wish…It is deserved for everybody.

Yes, we all have the rights to achieve the wish to be happy.  I hope you still do not forget the DS practitioners. Please lift the ban and all of us can be a big family, brothers & sisters!

That's kinda sad because everyone can be the Dalai Lama's 'brothers and sisters' except for Dorje Shugden practitioners. why exclude them? why not bond with Dorje Shugden practitioners and pray for them if Dorje Shugden is really that bad? HHDL should lift the ban before making statements like these....it would be more credible. But in any case, I hope that the short and brief meeting those people have with the Dalai Lama benefit them in some way.

Does anyone know if these public talks by HH the Dalai Lama are open to all or are Dorje Shugden practitioners not allowed to attend? A friend of mine told me that the public talks which the Dalai Lama holds are open to all and sundry, it is just the initiations that the Dalai Lama gives forbids Dorje Shugden practitioners to attend. Personally i would like to see some notices or information about whether this ostracisation of Dorje Shugden practitioners is still going on.

From what I understand, the Dalai Lama only forbids Dorje Shugden practitioners from going to his tantric teachings and he wont say anything when it comes to sutra teachings. But what I dont understand is how can it be that other monks bar Dorje Shugden practitioners from their Dharma teaching sessions as well. It just dosent make sense whatsoever for them to do so. The Dalai Lama does what he does but for others to emulate him blindly, I think that's a bit too....blind.
