Shugden practice in Tibet is alive and well
« on: January 06, 2015, 10:42:47 AM »
These are some nice pictures to share with everyone, lifted off of Facebook. Notice that Shugden is on the same thangka as Shakyamuni. Why would a spirit be accorded such an honour?

The Dalai Lama and Dharamsala like to claim that Shugden is a minority practice but these pictures show otherwise. Its interesting that wherever the CTA has less influence, for example in Mongolia, Shugden practice is growing AND there arent any issues with disharmony and disunity (unlike places where the CTA has influence and as a result, we see a lot of problems).

Dorje Shugden practice in Tibet where it remains strong away from the impact of Dharamsala's hypocritical ban on religious freedom

Many in Tibet continue to worship Dorje Shugden as they have always done for the last 400 years

Thank you DharmaDefender for sharing this with all of us here, the thangkas are really amazing. It just took my breath away.

Isn't it amazing and interesting how the practice grows strong in places that the CTA do not have control over?

This really makes one wonder if it is because of the control and discrimination that the CTA and CTA supporters show, that the people that are in the CTA controlled communities do not dare to openly practice Dorje Shugden.

I'm really amaze with the way they workship DorjeShugden in Tibet. It look super grand and holy from the picture that has been attached.

Respect to the practitioner that still workship the holy Protector despite all the obstacles they have.

It is great to hear that the practice of Dorje Shugden in Tibet is staying alive and strong in Tibet away from the CTA. It is indeed interesting to see that the places where the CTA have no control of, Dorje Shugden is growing huge and the fact that there is also no disharmony, problems or issues in these countries compared to places like Dharamsala where the CTA has control of.

It is wonderful to know that despite all the drama and obstacles, Lamas, monks and locals are still devotedly doing their practice of Dorje Shugden.

This really makes me wonder..... If Dorje Shugden really is a spirit as claimed by the Dalai Lama and the CTA, then why was He put together in the same Thangka as Buddha Shakyamuni and worshipped just like the rest of the Buddhas?

Thank you DharmaDefender for sharing this wonderful post.

It is heartwarming to see the huge DS crowd at the festival in Tibet/China.  The 400 year old tradition is well preserved and will be passed on to millions around the world.

Dalai Lama's political propaganda on Dorje Shugden will not work and is futile against the truth.  Truth will always prevail.

Despite learning and knowing all the discrimination and sufferings encountered by the DS practitioners’ in Dharmasala where CTA has control of, this does not hinder the DS practitioner in Tibet to slow down or leave their practice. In fact, their faith and trust in the King Dharma Protector had however accelerating day by day . So, what is the purpose of imposing ban in practicing DS which lead to the disharmony  amongst the Tibetans when  the ban does not serve it’s  intended purpose ? Might as well, lift the ban and back to the good old way of life!

The thangka is so big and grand, a sure sign that DS is growing and it is great blessings for everyone to view this holy painting. It is amazing that DS practice is so alive and strong and growing in places where the CTA has no control. And definitely it doesn’t make sense, if Dorje Shugden is a spirit,  he shouldn't be in the thangka with Buddha Shakyamuni but he is! I hope the CTA will not be blinded and except the truth that Dorje Shugden is an Enlightened Being and allow everyone to practice in peace. May the ban be lifted soon!

 Thank you, DharmaDefender, for sharing.

Thank you DD rejoicing to see despite all the challenges that Dorje Shugden monks and practitioners face, they have pushed themselves to overcome all manner of difficulty.

One can't help but think that the Dalai Lama by banning the practice has made practitioners understand the dharma more and better, they know themselves much more than before, that this action has prepared the monks, lamas and practitioners to face the challenges of the 21st century be enacting the ban. As my lama said before the Buddhism begins to degenerate much more, the flames of the dharma will be bright once more, there will be a great spiritual war in the future.

I hope the Dalai Lama is preparing us for that day.
