To be able to view this huge thangkas is really fortunate. I guess it is not easy to keep this thangka.

Thank you for sharing the sites and pictures of the huge Thangkas that usually are only unfurled during holy celebrations to bless the people near and far. It is amazing how the painters could beautifully paint the Buddhas in such huge size and be proportionally correct. Kudos to the painters who are so blessed.

You know, although I do not particularly like the Chinese, we must admit it, they see to be helping to preserve the Tibetan culture. And you know what they have more freedom to practice whatever they like as long they do not talk bad about government and follow the law, no DL pictures and you are fine, really.

But even if you are a Tibetan in exile, living in India, so called free.... If you talk bad about DL or the Tibetan Gov, you are doomed. Everyone will start attacking you. So how are they any different from China banning people for speaking negatively about the gov? Dharamsala always have double standards and bend the rules according to their liking.
