The inconsistencies of the CTA can be seen on several levels. There is the inconsistency of saying that Dorje Shugden was harming the cause of Tibetan Freedom and hence ,he should not be practiced. When we examine the "cause of Tibetan Freedom", we find that this cause is like shifting sand. It started being total freedom for Tibet from Chinese Rule. When that didn't work, it became the "middle way" or mere autonomy for Tibet. The outrageous implication of this shift of stance, is that the death of over 100 in suicide /self-immolation was in vain.
The second inconsistency is that of its use of the term "democracy". Earlier , the TGIE, had spoken passionately about how the "freedom of speech and democracy were enshrined in the Charter of the Tibetan Government". Today it is acting most inconsistently in throwing democracy to the winds in regard to their intolerance of Shugden practitioners, who are ostracized and not given their equal rights to freedom and greater equality , who are atrociously attacked.
