I think CTA really feel Ds.com is a thread to them. This is a new website by CTA to promote specifically on Anti Dorje Shudgen. Here the link : http://www.dalailamaprotesters.info/ You can see most on the style copied from Ds.com.

As they say, "Imitation is the highest form of flattery".

But there is one big difference, unlike DorjeShugden.com and this forum, the new website does not allow comments hence it sounds more like propaganda.

It is obvious the purpose of creating this website is for carrying out the duty of explaining themselves to the world. Just as the truth are surfacing, exposing many of the doings of the CTA and many more people are beginning to question, this website was created to confuse the masses and smear the image of the Shugden monks and practitioners. Of course, in line with the CTA 's policy of dictatorship, there was no room for discussions and questions.

I agree with @RingoStarr that it sounds fishy when it does not allow comments or open feedback. If there is no ban (as what CTA claims), then why is there a need publish a "hit list" of the protestors in CTA website?

Also, the article "What Do the Protesters Want?" said NKT has no interest to communicate. To me, this statement is very irresponsible. There are thousands if not millions of Dorje Shugden practitioners. If NKT is not interested to talk, do you mean there are no other practitioners want to communicate? This logic does not make sense and it indeed show CTA has no interest to communicate and just blame others.

Agreed. This sounds really fishy, as it does not allow comments or feedback. To me, this is the usual CTA style, autocratic, dictatorship. They just say what they like regardless if there is any fact to support / if it is logical and they do not listen to any feedback or comment.

They claim that here is no ban. There is no human right issue. His Holiness Dalai Lama does not ban dorje Shugden. Why did he encourage expelling the DS monks from the monasteries and supported all the actions of CTA? If there is no ban, why did the Tibetan Parliament in exile unanimously pass a five-point resolution against the worship of Dorje Shugden in March 2014? Some of these resolutions include:

    proclaiming that any individual or organisation propitiating Dorje Shugden would not be affiliated to any Tibetan religious school;
    condemning actions of Dorje Shugden followers as a political tool to create discord within the Tibetan community under the influence and deception of monetary gains, and to denigrate His Holiness the Dalai Lama with baseless allegations; and
    recognising that the followers of Dorje Shugden have caused grave harm to the faith and polity of Tibet under the Chinese government’s ploy and in violation of the law of Karma – as criminals in history

The Parliament also stated in the resolution that the issue has nothing to do with religious freedom.   despite the fact that Dorje Shugden practitioners continue to suffer discrimination and denigration, even being labelled as enemies of the state without the opportunity of a fair trial).

It is consistent with the style of the Dalai Lama and the CTA to not allow comments and respond. That is true for the propagandist that no dissent is allowed and it is targeted to people who do not dissent. So there is a demand for this type of propagandist style just to serve to confirm the belief already in place. In mass communication it is called "cognitive dissonance" or rather to prevent a change of an already present cognitive view.
All dictatorship in the history of humankind have such policies and along with it strict censorship of any dissenting view and most cases persecution of the dissenting parties.
That has happened in Apartheid South Africa, Nazi Germany, Lenin/Stalin USSR and Mao China. Sorry and luckily the CTA are not that powerful but the little power the have they really abuse. And it is bad enough.

Thank you Christine. You are right, Ringo. This is definitely a CTA website, and , because it brooks no dissent nor allow any room for debate, it is a website set up for only one purpose - for propaganda.

See how autocratic it is in style. Take for example, the article -'Is there a human rights issue?'

Straightaway comes  the answer: 'No, there is not'.   Following that comes the statement ' There is no ban on Shugden worship'.   The article then proceeds to explain why there is no ban , but the explanation comes across as merely contrived reasons and justification(without clear-cut evidence) for saying why there is no ban.

It is so unlike DS.Com, which allows for much debate and presentation of different and contrasting viewpoints.

* In my opinion, they are worry with the free flow of information and expression of one's opinion (opinion that are different from theirs), and put in so much effort, time and money to create and maintain such a website/platform to spread the information pro to their side, so to influence more.

* No column for comments? May be you are never a believer in exchange of opinions and views, to get clearer view for all. It's hard to believe someone from tradition of Gelug which emphasized lot on debate so to test one's deep understanding and knowledge...and opinions are NOT ALLOWED. Thus it comes to no surprise when we cannot stand or even see people go to street, on website, Facebook or other forms of social media to speak opinions against you or your belief.

In my opinion, it will be quite a waste of time, money and effort to spread HATRED on website, instead of doing something bring benefits to people.

They claimed that Dorje Shugden us a threat to them because they are not doing the right thing, somehow there's a small portion of uneasiness, they are afraid. Why do we need to be afraid if we didn't do anything wrong? Please think for yourselves...
