You did not properly read the article. There are two completely separate issues, and you misunderstood both, improperly conflating them.
One issue are the 22 CSC (China Study Centers) in Nepalese territory, out of which only 11 operate near to the Indian border, teaching topics such as economy, culture, and language.
Another totally different issue are the 22 monasteries, supposedly Buddhist, built
inside Indian territory, far away from China and Nepal, but near to Bhutan.
As to the 22 CSC, which are non-religious, cultural study centers, in Nepalese territory, out of which only 11 near to its border with India, it is just natural that India, which has a firm grip on Nepalese culture and economy, is afraid of Chinese competition. But Nepal is a proud and sovereign nation, and it is not India's job to dictate to Nepal who is going to help its society and economy out of poverty, a task India has never been up to (and for). Indeed, much of Nepal's poverty can be ascribed to the country's economic dependency on, and neocolonial exploitation by, India.
As to the 22 monasteries, supposedly Buddhist, inside Indian territory, far away from Nepal and even more from China, but near to the Indian border with Bhutan, China has nothing to do with them. These are most likely an initiative of the evil dalai, who nurtures the ambition of a pan-Himalayan fanatical “Buddhist” army under his control, to be used by himself and by his Western neocolonial bosses as a geopolitical religious terrorist army to spread chaos in the region, very much like the fanatical terrorist Islamic State is used by US and Israel to spread chaos in Syria and Iraq.
But I cannot blame only you for the improper conflation of the two separate, distinctive topics. The very title of the new,
“Four dozen Chinese centres, monasteries along Indian borders” was a lie meant to induce confusion and anti-China hatred. There are only two dozen Chinese centers in Nepal, and only half of them (11) near to Indian borders, and two dozen non-Chinese monasteries inside Indian borders, far from China and Nepal. The anti-China hate lie was to be expected, as ZeeNews is closely associated with Western anti-China hate-propaganda outlets such as Fox News.
What bothers me is these Chinese monasteries doesn't even conduct activities to spread Buddhism or to teach Chinese culture to the locals.
You are talking about your own imagination, mixed with media-induced anti-China delirious paranoia.
Indeed, even the poisonously deceptive article does not say one word about “Chinese monasteries”, let alone about what they supposedly teach or not.

Before looking for “hard evidence” on whatever, please read properly the article, and rein in your puerile, media-induced, agitated anti-China imagination.
