The complete absence of logic and common sense amongst "Buddhists" is by far the most bizarre thing to me about this whole controversy.
LOGIC & COMMON SENSE = the people protesting the Dalai Lama would not waste their time and money to protest if people weren't suffering persecution
LACK OF LOGIC & COMMON SENSE = the people protesting the Dalai Lama have no reason to be protesting the Dalai Lama
LOGIC & COMMON SENSE = people have a right to believe differently from myself without me persecuting them for it
LACK OF LOGIC & COMMON SENSE = it is ok to persecute others for their beliefs even though my teacher who is recorded telling me to persecute others for their beliefs also speaks internationally telling us not to persecute others for their beliefs
