Christine V, you are right. All these do not make sense.
1) if Dorje Shugden is a demon, when the monastery disassociate the monks who practice Dorje Shugden, they should also disassociate from the "demon" by not associating themselves with the relics or stupas of previous high lamas who practice Droje Shugden.
2) If Dorje Shugden is a demon, the worshipers will not be able to be reborn as a human but will end up in the hell realms. The mere fact that the reincarnations of Trijang Rinpoche and Zong Rinpoche are back, properly and officially recognised and confirmed by the Dalai Lama, shows that they are not wrong and they did not worship a demon. In fact, they worshiped a Buddha for them to be able to be reborn as a human and to continue their work.
