Dorje Shugden is Buddha Vajrapani

The earliest Gelugpa traditions of Sera Monastery in the 18th Century recognized Dorje Shugden as and Emanation of Buddha Vajrapani. It is only in more recent times that he is seen as an emanation of Buddha Manjushri.

The 2nd Reting Rinpoche (1759-1815) declared that Dorje Shugden was and emanation of the Buddha Vajrapani. "He requested Dragri Gyatso Thaye to write the first Gelug Long Ritual (Kangso) for Dorje Shugden.....The Sera (Monastery) tradition of recognizing Dorje Shugden as Vajrapani continued through the rituals of the Sera Tantric College....Finally Serkong Dorje Chang of Ganden Monastery seems to have written
his Kangso in view of this tradition recognizing him as Vajrapani. Not only was Dorje Shugden recognized as Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani but he was recognized as Manjushri as well. This Tradition is the most popular in contemporary times.......".

So for as far back as the last 1700's Dorje Shugden was seen as a emanation of a Buddha, in this case Buddha Vajrapani. It does not really matter if history has seen Dorje Shugden as either the Buddha Avalokiteshvara or Buddha Vajrapani even as Buddha Manjushri. What matters is that he has been seen as a BUDDHA.

So now we can see the lies of the Dalai Lama and the CTA about Dorje Shugden. They claim he is an evil spirit and the practice of seeing him as an "enlightened being" is only a creation of recent times is a LIE. The practice of Dorje Shugden as an emanation of a Buddha goes as far back as the 18th century.

On page three below the photo of a wrathful Dorje Shugden  you will see "Part of a praise written by Serkong Dorje Chang says:.......You are Vajrapani, Dorje Shugden I consecrate you, the powerful one like Vajrapani, the protector of Tsongkhapa's teachings".

If we can now see that Dorje Shugden is now as per the Sera Monastery tradition an emanation of Buddha Vajrapani what does this mean?

It means that we can look at the wrathful emanation of Dorje Shugden in a different light. I am speaking about "Trakze" who is wrathful Dorje Shugden riding on a "Garuda".

We can now see "Trakze" as "Buddha Vajrapani Dorje Shugden" riding on "Buddha Vajrapani Black Garuda". Tsem Tulku has taught us about the teachings of Black Garuda as per Lama Zopa Rinpoche's "Fire Sword of Black Garuda" practice. Please google "PDF Black Garuda FPMT" and you will see the full practice. This practice starts with "NAMO GURU VAJRAPANIYI", HOMAGE TO GURU VAJRAPANI. It states "(Look at Black Garuda with the understanding and devotion that this is actually the Buddha). This appears to mean that Black Garuda is the Guru Vajrapani.

You can still continue to see Dorje Shugden as "Buddha Manjurshri" but you can if you wish see him also as "Buddha Vajrapani". If you which to see him as "Buddha Vajrapani" you can now meditate on "Trakze" as both "Buddha Vajrapani Dorje Shugden" sitting on  "Buddha Vajrapani Black Black Garuda".

Thank you so much Harold for these beneficial links and info on this unique aspect on Dorje Shugden and Vajrapani.
 It was all the while so painfully clear to everyone's view that Dorje Shugden is a Buddha. Whether Dorje Shugden appeared to one as Buddha Vajrapani or Buddha Manjushri should not affect one's belief in the enlightened qualities of all the Buddhas. I pray for those who have been misguided by the CTA to be able to see the truth already and stop behaving irrationally towards the Shugden believers in their midst. Even if they still want to be ignorant, I pray that they could stop discriminating those who pray to a different deity from theirs.

How about worshipping Dorje Shugden as a YIDAM!!!

Yes that correct we can worship him as a YIDAM and all it would take is a "Highly realized Guru" or an "Oracle" to write the empowerment and sadhana. That's all it would take.

The Dorje Shugden "Dice Divination" system was created through an "Oracle" who was taken trance of by Dorje Shugden. While in trance Dorje Shugden came an gave the transmission for this divination system. H.E. Tsem Tulku has received this transmission and done the retreat and uses this system for his divination practice.

Hopeful in 2017 are resolution should be that we can worship Dorje Shugden as our YIDAM.
