We have heard the story of how there were two candidates for the 5th Dalai Lama title. One was Drakpa Gyeltsen and the other was the eventual choice. The story goes that Drakpa was the favored choice but politics got in the way and he lost.
Should Drakpa Gyeltsen have been the real Dalai Dalai from the 5th thru the 14th?
