I believe the Nepal earthquake was the key that turned the Nepalese to China. The Chinese International Search and Rescue Team was sent immediately when the disaster strike. Apart from the rescue team, the Chinese provided food, clothing, medical needs, of course, monetary support to Nepal among many other types of machinery and expertize they brought to Nepal. NO other countries, including the US, UK, India etc. helped in so many ways. The Nepalese are very thankful for the Chinese's help and naturally and logically would wish to continue this good relationship.
Apart from the Chinese's help, the Tibetans in Nepal, just like the other Tibetans in other countries, they did not contribute to the growth and betterment of the countries that kindly gave them refugee from Tibet. The Tibetan Leadership's main job is to play the victim card and ask for donations, while the Tibetans complain how unfair they are being treated in their host country. Logically speaking, why would the host need to tolerate this kind of ungratefulness?
It is about time that the Tibetans do something about their lives and be a responsible grown up. No one owes them anything. They must realise all they have received are due to His Holiness the Dalai Lama's fame and skilful means, and this is already fading.
