This is what that makes them (look) stupid.
If you want to protest, do it outside the stadium.
It also looks bad on the Tibetan refugees' host country India.
Imagine a Free Kashmir flag being unfurled during an India test match?
How do you think India will react?

WHY ARE TIBETANS ALWAYS CAUSING PROBLEMS? I agree if you wanna protest, do it outside the stadium but you see with that amount of people, you might as well don't embarrass yourselves and just go home and have some momos!

First they add religion to the political mox, now they are adding sports to the political mix. I thought the world would have learnt a lesson from the Munich Olympics of 1972?? Trust the Tibetans to use any venue without a thought other than convenience.

Considering that many consider (i) politics as serious issues which impacts their reality and (ii) sports as on outlet of escape from the everyday world for most people, mixing politics with sports is bound to get people heated at times.

Thus, it is only a decent thing to do to exercise your freedom of speech in a respectable manner instead of intentionally disruptive manner. Take this case for example, they could have demonstrated peacefully outside instead of antagonising the players and spectators during the game, possibly jeopardising the game for those looking forward to it and also putting the host nation in a difficult and awkward situation.

At the end of the day, based on the reporting, not only did the Tibetans not achieve any significant result (they were asked to keep away the flag), it also created as well as left quite a negative impression towards the Tibetans rather then against the Chinese.

This was not a smart move! Why not stay quiet for once. So many annoyed people who had to wait and could not enjoy the match in time and in this cold season!

Protesting ok but what will it change? Tibet is lost since 60 years. Yes, the Tibetan Cause but I think everyone should move forward and find ways to improve the situations for all Tibetans inside China and outside. This should be the mission of the Tibetan Government in Exile!
