Obviously, reported by an Indian  :P :P :P

The CTA is counting down to their final doomed day where they can kiss their 1.5 million DC office, the attractive employment package and non-performance required role goodbye. Even if they start to work now, and hard, everything is too late now. India does not want this burden anymore, it is becoming very costly to use for nothing. The lucrative incentive from China for ditching the Tibetans are more attractive. India is smart to make a change, not like the Tibetans forever playing pathetic mind games and a** kissing tricks that are not pouring them hot s**t to keep them really warm before the chill comes on their final doom day.

In 2016, the Dalai Lama was invited to India’s presidential palace for a ceremony honoring Nobel Peace prize winners. The government later allowed him to visit the disputed state of Arunachal Pradesh, disregarding Chinese objections.

China reviles the Dalai Lama as a dangerous separatist and his activities in India have always been a source of friction, and a tool with which India can needle China.

“Tibet has utility to irritate China, but it is becoming costly for us now. They are punishing us,” said P. Stobdan, a former Indian ambassador.

China has blocked India’s membership of a nuclear cartel and it also blocks U.N. sanctions against a Pakistan-based militant leader blamed for attacks on India.

Further humiliation to the CTA! Great for Reuters to pick up.
Well, what can we say? We are all just waiting for CTA to collapse or for a more fair leader, that will represent the Tibetan exile people better. I do hope something good will come out of all this.

At least the Dalai Lama is just trying his best to not provoke the situation which is skillful of HH. Finally, they are doing something right.

There is no denying that the Central Tibetan Administration is losing its grip and influence over the Indian government. As indicated in the article below from the Hindustan Times, the Modi government has made it clear that it does not want the Tibetan administration to engage in political activities against Beijing. https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/sco-ministerial-summit-swaraj-sitharaman-to-meet-their-chinese-counterparts-in-beijing/story-be6FgUHbIXJo0KuQbBEHoJ.html
Apparently, such message was quietly conveyed to the CTA in the past, but now done openly and bluntly by the Indian government.

Taking into account the obvious fact that more and more countries are aligning with China and the declining appeal of the Tibetan cause, it doesn’t make sense for CTA to continue antagonising China. Instead, especially with the Indian government more sensitive towards its engagement with China, it would be logical for Tibetans in exile in India make peace with China.

At this juncture, it is only pragmatic to do so. At least by doing so, there is a shot at things becoming better for the Tibetans inside Tibet and a chance for all Tibetans outside of Tibet to visit family in Tibet and perhaps even migrate back to their homeland. By opposing China, it is clear that no benefit will arise. After all, the last 60 years of lobbying against China has yielded no result. Perhaps it really is the time to change tack to have results.
