Pakistani 'oath' - ring any bells?
« on: June 17, 2010, 09:30:19 AM »
Check out the following report on an oath Pakistani Muslims are obliged to sign if they want their passports:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/from_our_own_correspondent/8744092.stm

interesting how the journalist admits to mentally fudging the issue in order to get what he needs.

Atrocious.
Utterly sad.
What a shame that the behavior of the most famous Buddhist community of the world, the Tibetan community, along with large Western Tibetan Buddhist centers, can be compared to the intolerance, and even the cruelty, of such intolerant people of this world.
We should have a day of mourning for the tragedy of Dharma prompted by the ban on Dorje Shugden. Instead, we congratulate the perpetrator.
