The previous Zong Rinpoche was undoubtedly one of the greatest Gelug masters of all time. He is known to be an emanation of Heruka. His teacher was the illustrious Kyabjye Trijang Rinpoche, in some of the picture whereby one can see how much devotion Zong Rinpoche had for Trijang Rinpoche.
He was a wrathful and no nonsense lama, he was also a great master in the Gaden Chod Tradition. So glad he is of age to start teaching and turning the wheel of dharma again.
