February 13, 2008,
Additional Commissioner of Police, who is especial
representative for Tibetans, summoned a meeting at Sera-May monastery,
Bylakupee, South India. It was attended by, from our side, Geshe Thupten
Kunsang, Geshe Thupten Sampel, Geshe Tenzin Tsering, and the representative of
Local Dorje Shugden Society; and from their side, Gen Rabgya, the abbot of
Sera-May monastery and Representative of the Dalai Lama in Tibetan settlement. The
meeting started at 2.30 pm and lasted 5.30.
In the meeting, AC asked both parties to resolve the issue
between yourselves. It is not allowed to create any kind problem in the
monastery. We have already passed a law. If things get worse, we would tighten
the law, and the monastery could be sealed forever. Our Indian government will
not keep quite.
Last night there was a meeting held at Sera-Lachi; they
decided to hold the great prayer festival. A batch which has written: "not
to share religious and meterail amenities with Shugden devotees were made for
the participants of the great prayer festival. When I am writing this, the
great prayer festival is not yet be held.
