Thank you for sharing this, its creative to be replacing the word Tibet with "Dorje Shugden's practitioners". That is the exact sentiments that all of the Dorje Shuden's practitioners have in their mind now. We have so much struggles and obstacles to overcome and in a way our mind become stronger and stronger to face daily harsh and life threatening ordeals from all over. Don't even mention the discriminations and boycotts we as Dorje Shugden practitioners have to endure in order to practice this sacred protector's practice! We have to remain strong and never succumb to the pressure and hope the ban to be lifted very soon!
But the beauty here is that the more difficulties that we endure, the stronger we become and the more we can achieve at the end of the day. Dorje Shugden practitioners and those who stick on all the way with him will eventually transform the most and they will also be the ones to have results and attainments as nothing can be achieved by being wishy washy.
Results of Dharma practice can only come to people who are strong in mind and heart and who will not waver from it no matter what happens. Milarepa did not run away when Marpa gave him harsh treatment, neither did he go here and there looking for second opinions of his teacher. He just kept going on despite the difficulties that he was given and in the end he got enlightened.
It cant be that the Guru is wrong and an authority "higher" that the Guru is right. If that is the case, Guru devotion would be easy: we only go for the "high" ranking Lamas for teachings and ignore completely the "lower" ones when both of them are actually equal in nature when it comes to practice, understanding, compassion and the Dharma that they teach are the same.
Tibet in China will never go back to the Tibetans for many reasons, but their spirit still stays strong and they still have their identity and culture with them. They never had to evolve or adapt their culture to anything prior to the ousting by the Chinese, so they are struggling hard and they keep reminiscing about the past instead of adapting it to suit the current times and needs....if they did, they would suffer so much less.
