Nice website, nice initiative. I like it, but sadly most people who like to 'debate' about Dorje Shugden often choose avenues where they know that there are people who do not know about the issue enough to see through lies and confusing technical terms. They often throw a lot of "historical" facts and a lot of claims in their statements, and people who dont know any better will think that it is something real. As you can see, none of those big talkers dare to come in here and try to convince us that Dorje Shugden is bad. They will always target those forums or those places where people are fresh to Buddhism (Why choose newbies and then turn them away from Buddhism or scare them? Should they not focus more on the basics instead?) because they are nice and fresh for prepping. Also, they tend to use the same methods to attack those who defend Dorje Shugden in those forums: by saying that their source of information of the Dorje Shugden defenders is invalid and only their source is valid. I have seen this in action many times in various forums around, and even on tricycle's webpage.
No matter how it seems, it does look like as though the detractors were all paid and they were trained by the same source and material to talk negatively about Dorje Shugden online. Unless we can sharpen our knowledge of not just Dorje Shugden but also that of the Dalai Lama as well (without being biased against him, of course, because everyone knows that the Dalai Lama is not an evil person) and when we have these tools to 'debate' with the crusaders, we will be able to get the message clearly across. A debate forum that was opened like in the link would only work if it can attract the anti Dorje Shugden people there as well as the newbies, so that there is a well balanced mix of views.
