Two Young Tulkus who recently have left Gaden Jangtze Monastery. They have joined Shar Gaden Monastery. They wish to openly practice Dorje Shugden.

They were severly beaten by six other monks from Gaden Jangtze supporting the Dalai lama's ban Shugden policy outside of Serkong khangtsen in Gaden Jangtze Monastery.

Shar Gaden Monastery is just 10 mins walk away from Gaden Jangtze Monastery.

The Two young tulkus have been admitted to the hospital now recuperating.

The ban on Dorje Shugden makes hard line anti-shugden people act out in violence against their own kind who practice Dorje Shugden.

People should write in to Gaden Jangtze Monastery to let them know the world is watching:

Monks outnumbered and injured in night-time attack

Sunday 31st May 2009

Two young monks have been admitted to hospital, to be treated for injuries sustained during an unprovoked attack.
The attack took place around 11.30pm on Saturday 30th May 2009, outside Serkong Khangtsen, in the Tibetan colony near Mundgod, Karnataka State, India.
The victims, Lobsang Damchoe and Lobsang Choekyi Gyaltsen, are both tulkus (reincarnate lamas) who recently enrolled at Shar Gaden Monastery. They are known in the community as followers of the protector Dorje Shugden.
The six attackers, supporters of HH Dalai Lama’s policy against the practice of Dorje Shugden, have admitted to planning and carrying out the attack. Thus far, their monastery, Gaden Jangtse, has made no comment and has given no punishment.
The attackers are also supported by the local Tibetan Representative’s office and its chairman, which themselves have wide support in the local community.
The Indian police have been informed of the attack and are currently investigating, but as yet have made no arrests.

tk_Perhaps Off Duty Policemen might be contracted to protect the Monastery. How much could it cost for 6-8Cops @24/7. TGIE knows they are dead in the water, even as they thrash and roll about in their final Endgame of imtimidation. This is how it started in 1996,lighting up children with kerosene and burning homes of Shugden Practioners.
Maybe the Chinese can send over a few plain clothes specialist to put these cowards in their place.'I've already put in a request to help the monks security situation. They cannot do anything about this, they are monks. That's why we need people on the outside, to take care of business.
I'm looking forward to sending my own greetings to these idiots this fall.
Hey Bob Thurman! Keep an eye out for old friends. I'll be in New York next month. What do you say, we have chat over a cup of tea?

Hi all,

My wish about this event is that no follower of or our great lineage will react violently to this action (in my mind, pursuing the persons who did this isn't a violent reaction but the contrary. It's an example of using the neutrality of a third party to settle pacifically a problem.)

When this kind of event happen, we must show people the reason why we are so attached to the gelugpa lineage. Because this lineage actually help people to attain the complete detachment and compassion of the buddhahood. So there is a reason why we want so much to follow scrupulously and preserve intact the gelugpa lineage of Tsongkhapa: because this tradition have produced and continue to produce good buddhist practionners, not because we are fanatics in war against all other forms of practice.

Best Regards,

stibo

There had been write ups, head line news about torture of Monks who worship Dorje Shugden.

This post actually give details and pictures of such treachery.  So much suffering for a personal practice.  Let us all work for the Ban to be lifted.

This is ridiculous. Everyone has their differences and believe. All should respect and further more it’s a monastery and if there is any disagreement should be resolve in a dharmic way. It’s really disappointed to see monk act like any samsaric people in this case. This is not only a shame for the monastery but also as the follower of HH Dalai Lama.

This is also what i have heard from that there is always violence towards Shugden practioners and now even in the monastery. The world should know how Shugden practitioners being treated  not only in secular but also spiritually in monastery.

The ban has brought so much hatred! How bad to beat monks!
But then also Dorje Shugden practitioners are not allowed to the hospital close by, but have to travel to a bigger city to be given treatment.  What a terrible situation!

May this ban end very soon!

How can monks of pro Dalai Lama did such a shameful thing towards monks that practice Dorje Shugden. Where is the freedom to religion? Someone that hold vows and wearing the monk robe did such a violence act, what would the karmic effect on them?

In today's world, there are so many different religions being practiced. If people choose a religion different from us, does it means we have to use violence to stop others from doing it? That is not a very wise act right?

The ban has caused too much suffering for the Dorje Shugden followers including high lamas, monks and practitioners. May the ban be lifted asap to stop the suffering of the Dorje Shugden followers and let Buddhism flourish with the powerful protector, Dorje Shugden practice,

It’s sad to see  the pain and suffering the DS practitioners have to undergo just for upholding the  master lineage and samaya. These six monks should be fully  aware of the cause and effect and also the karma created for harming other sanghas. If all these actions continuously happen,  there will surely a segregation amongst the Tibetans.  When even the Tibetan nations are not living harmoniously and peacefully, how would  “Free Tibet”  be realized?  Lift up the ban and allow all to have freedom in religion and belief.
