I feel this days, campaigns like this is getting more provocative and aggressive cos soft methods doesn't seem to have effect on meat eaters. Strong statements must be made to be heard and understood. PETA is going the right direction. I have heard of more people turning vegetarian after watching many videos of animal cruelty on youtube, facebook and other social medias. Some refuses to watch and inevitably avoid it because they do not want to see the truth of their own cruelty and to drown in feelings of guilt.

Oh PETA, please get to these people fast!

Cannibalism has recently been practised in several wars, specifically in Liberia and Congo.

Cannibalism is rare and is not illegal in most countries. People who eat human flesh are usually charged with crimes not relating to cannibalism, such as murder or desecration of a body.

The Korowai - an ethnic group of about 3,000 people in New Guinea - are one of very few tribes still believed to eat human flesh as a cultural practice.

It is also still known to be practised as a ritual and in war in various Melanesian tribes. Melanesia is an island region immediately north and northeast of Australia.

Many tribes (in places like the Netherlands and Papua New Guinea) still actively practice cannibalism and have been for decades; it is an operational part of their culture, lifestyle and one of their means of survival.
