Does anyone know if there is an english translation of Trijang Dorjechangs biography in the pipeline anywhere?

There is not much information about Kyabje Trijang Dorjechang available anywhere on the Internet and yet he is the greatest Lama of his generation.

Due to the surpression of the Tibetan Govt's stance against Dorje Shugden, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche automatically becomes implicated.

Hence any mention, support or connection with Trijang Rinpoche raises suspicions that you are practicing Dorje Shugden. So all Gelug Dharma centres in the world considers a no-no to have direct connections with Trijang Rinpoche.

If you remove Trijang Rinpoche's practices, texts, lineage, transmissions, the backbone of 20th and 21st Century basis for Gelug practices would be gone.

So you will not see much information or updates on Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche on the net.

Again, we are hoping and waiting for the english bio of Trijang Rinpoche to come out.

If anyone has any contacts/connections with Ven Gonsar Rinpoche of Rabten Choeling in Switzerland, do contact Rinpoche or his assistants and let us know what is the progress of the bio?? When is it coming out exactly. I am extremely looking forward to it.

We are really in full anticipation of this holy biography, but we hear very little news. Please do find out as soon as possible.

Gonsar Rinpoche is working on this Biography in Switzerland together with Gaden Shartse's Geshe Cheme Tsering is the last news that was heard. That was in the Fall of last year 2008.

Geshe Cheme was in Switzerland for quite a while to help on this project.

Although it may well be true that information pertaining to Trijang Dorjechang is suppressed due to the politics, the great advantage of the Internet is that once we have any autobiographical information there is nothing to stop us also using the Internet to let people know of it.

Wikipedia is a place where many go for information. If you know anything about Trijang Rinpoche, you can always add it to the sparse Wiki entry -- just be sure to try and add references for what you are saying.

People will find and read this, just as they are finding out more about Je Phabongkhapa (to counter the slander) from various internet sources (including Wikipedia).

They will need editing and rechecking before they are released.
