China Condemns Dalai Lama of Abusing Child Rights
« on: October 15, 2013, 11:51:44 AM »
BEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- China accused the 14th Dalai Lama on Tuesday of tearing hundreds of Tibetan families apart and causing serious abuses of children's rights by orchestrating a Swiss campaign in the 1960s to adopt Tibetan orphans.

The condemnation came after a Swiss newspaper Neue Zuercher Zeitung published a series of stories in September questioning the privately run campaign, masterminded by a Swiss entrepreneur and the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lama had expressed a wish to turn the children into an elite for the "Tibetan government-in-exile".

"The stories in the Swiss media have highlighted how the Dalai Lama and his clique fabricated so-called orphans and sent them to Switzerland," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said at a regular news briefing.

Charles Aeschimann, director of an energy company, adopted Tibetan children after reading about the Tibetan refugees and the Dalai Lama's call to American and European families to take Tibetan child refugees into care and give them a Western education.

"The Dalai Lama manufactured the orphan incident out of his Tibetan independence initiative, which caused hundreds of families to be torn apart, " Hua said.

Of the some 200 children placed in Swiss families and the Pestalozzi children's village in Trogen, only 19 of them are true orphans. The others either have both father and mother or at least have one living parent, according to the Swiss reports.

"The Dalai Lama's deeds have trampled on the children's individual rights and publicly violated common ethics and morality. All humane, justice-loving people should condemn such acts," Hua said.

"Tibetan orphans" incident exposes Dalai Lama clique's callousness, hypocrisy

BEIJING, Oct. 16 -- The "Tibetan orphans" incident, exposed by European media, has lifted the veil on the callous and hypocritical Dalai Lama clique, who have been masquerading as pacifist and benevolent.

According to a series of stories published by Swiss newspaper Neue Zuercher Zeitung, the vast majority of the so-called "Tibetan orphans" who were brought to Switzerland in the 1960s through a privately-run campaign masterminded by a Swiss entrepreneur and the Dalai Lama had at least one parent in Tibet.

In the Swiss documentary "Tibi and his mothers," directed by Ueli Meier, the bitter experiences and hard lives of the 100-plus "orphans" and other uncomfortable truths were presented.

For ulterior political purposes, the Dalai Lama clique trampled on the children's individual rights and publicly violated common ethics and morality, which was labeled by the Swiss paper as "morally ridiculous."

Humane people will be surprised to learn these lively Tibetan kids and their happy families could be employed by the Dalai Lama clique as political instruments and manipulated as "chess pieces."

And the orphan incident was just one of their favorite tricks to deceive the international community and win undue credit for themselves.

The disastrous effects produced by their dirty deeds are irreversible.

With little or no command of their mother tongue, the "orphans" have difficulties in communicating with their birth parents and some of them have given up attempts at family reunion. And faced with insurmountable cultural barriers, they have found themselves estranged from local communities. The "Tibetan orphans" fabricated by the Dalai Lama clique have thus become a real human tragedy.

Regardless of Swiss media's call for a sincere apology, the Dalai Lama clique feigns ignorance without the slightest remorse for their evil deeds.

The orphan incident was much more than "morally ridiculous" but a despicable crime the Dalai Lama clique committed against the Tibetan people.

The Dalai Lama clique must give the international community, as well as the Tibetan people, an accurate and comprehensive account of the incident.

Doesn't this sound too familiar? Is it not what Shugden practitioners in Tibetan society are being treated now and in the past?  CTA what have you got to say about this dirty deed?  You are exposed and the whole world knows about it now.  If CTA is smart CTA will quickly rectify it by freeing Dorje Shugden before this deception becomes out of control and cause another major embarrassment which will greatly damage your credibility and reputation.  Remember CTA  you are on the world stage and the whole world identify you as the Dalai Lama clique who are supposedly to be pacifist and benevolent.
