Oh dear! Again we receive this news of the adverse effect that the Dalai Lama's visit have on the business agreements in the host country. The negotiation parties try to make out that they have no knowledge of the planned event where the mayor of Milan presented the Dalai Lama with a key to the city and made him an honorary Milanese citizen. The closing date for the purchase of AC Milan soccer team had to be push later to March 2017 from December 2016, due to China's stance in stopping outflow of money to support the sale. With the final payment of Euro 320 million due in March, I wonder if China will soften her stance or SES will continue to scramble to fulfil final payment using various foreign bank accounts.
Although the Dalai Lama was welcomed all over the world in the past, now they will have to consider the severe repercussions of his visit on their trade agreement with China. Any displeasure and China will halt or cut off the ludicrous agreements. Personally, I really wish the Dalai Lama have a strong Government who is able to stand on its own to handle the Tibetans In Exile's return home on autonomy rule. As it is, CTA is still very much dependant on sponsorship of millions from America and dare not change the status quo for fear of hardship. If only CTA realises that they are holding a trump card if they negotiate with China as successful agreement will mean a "saving face" outcome for China. CTA should not let pride, attachment, greed, fear and what not to stand in the way of negotiations as they are just stooges to the American Government at the moment. Worst, CTA pawns the Dalai Lama, a holy man who is Buddha Chenrezig, in hopes of support from the Western Heads of States creating so much humiliation for them although I wonder if CTA is aware of their actions in the eyes of others. CTA should really stop using Protector Dorje Shugden as scape goat for their failures and be brave to stand up with admissions and move forward.
