HHDL, maybe we should start with lifting the ban of Dorje Shugden before we talk about other countries.
If You can urge the Buddhists to imagine an image off the Buddha before committing a crime, why cant you do the same for all DS practitioners?

In a Sunday speech to mark his 79th birthday in northern India, the Dalai Lama denounced the violence in both Buddhist-majority countries targeting Muslims as unacceptable.

“I urge the Buddhists in these countries to imagine an image of Buddha before they commit such a crime,” the Buddhist leader said.

The comments came a day after witnesses said more than 70 police were just standing by and watching as a Buddhist mob set fire to a school and other buildings in a Muslim neighborhood of Mandalay, which is Myanmar’s second largest city.

On July 2, an assault by Buddhist monks on Muslims left two people dead and wounded 14 others in Mandalay.
Violence by extremist Buddhists against Rohingya Muslims has killed hundreds of them and forced many more to flee the country.

Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar account for about five percent of the country’s population of nearly 60 million. They have been persecuted and faced torture, neglect, and repression since the country’s independence in 1948.

The UN recognizes the Rohingya Muslims living in Myanmar’s Rakhine State as one of the world’s most persecuted communities.

The Myanmar government has been repeatedly criticized by human rights groups for failing to protect the Rohingya Muslims. International bodies and human rights organizations accuse the government of turning a blind eye to the violence.

Critics have also slammed Sri Lanka’s government for its failure to protect the country’s Muslim minority against Buddhist extremists.

Last month, at least two Muslims were killed and dozens more injured in an attack by a hardline group known as Bodu Bala Sena, or the Buddhist Power Force.

HHDL will always be promoting non violence, peace and harmony around the world. But when it comes to the practice of Dorje Shugden, HHDL behaves otherwise. I've learnt that because of this, the Chinese government has been refurbishing DS monasteries and temples in Tibet and other parts of China to promote the practice of DS.

Having said that, it is time for the DS ban to be lifted as many people are suffering unnecessarily. CTA should never discriminate their people regardless of gender, race, and religion. This is basic human rights. CTA is barbaric and a just a group of farces. They are a laughing stock and is an embarrassment to the Tibetans.

This is funny that here denounced violence in Buddhist country targeting Muslim is not acceptable, there continue with the ban on Dorje Shudgen and caused the split in Buddhism community. The ban has caused many to suffer physically or mentally. The ban really need to be lifted otherwise we will still have a lot of question marks running around on our mind. So much contradiction as here said peace and living in peace with each other but there do differently.

We as a genuine Buddhism practitioner urge His Holiness Dalai Lama to lift the ban to allow us for religious freedom. This is important in order to have peace in the Buddhism community. No more threatening, no more criticism, no more controversy, no more sudden attack to the victims. All these just very crucial and affect the peace among the Buddhist community. Please accede the request to lift the ban.

HHDL has spoken about shopping all violence against Muslims which shows that he is very compassionate about religion freedom. HHDL is indeed a kind and compassionate high attained Lama.
If he can be so compassionate about violence against other religion why can't he be compassionate about the practice of Dorje Shugden? Why isn't he do something about the ban.
It's time the ban be lifted and the Tibetan people can live in harmony once again and practice DS without fear.

Buddhism is a tradition that promote peace and non violence. But there are still many Buddhist practitioners that do not live up to this principle, violence committed by Buddhist in country like Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Burma and Thailand, violence towards the DS pratitioners.

Thank you Dalai Lama for urging and reminding Buddhist to stop violence against the Muslims like the Rohingya. How come this were not extended to the DS practitioners? Why never tell non DS  not to attack DS practitioners, have compassion for the DS practitioners and let them have the freedom to do their practice. The ban need to be uplifted to cease the suffering of many DS practitioners. We need to internal peace among the Buddhist, before we can aim for world peace.

Well of course the Dalai Lama can ask for a stop to violence against Muslims.  Muslims are humans!
Dorje Shugden people are political enemies, no wait, spirit worshipers no wait, the Dalai Lama thinks Nechung is a spirit so the Dalai Lama is a spirt worshiper?  Oh wait--- I am getting tangled in a web of Dalai Lama 'logics'.
So I guess it's politically okay to be cool with Muslims, since the Dalai Lama's problems are more advanced Gelugpa practitioners than he.... who happen to do Shugden.
I actually feel sad for the Dalai Lama; because I think he is one of our suffering mother beings and you know, I really want him to feel better.... like have a long life and re-embrace Dorje Shugden.... then I think he will feel better.
