And now, monks are required to wear a special button to indicate they do not practice Dorje Shugden, so that those who do practice can be identified more easily.

Yeh I heard about that. Its happening in Sera Monastery. While that goes on the media tries to find evidence of how the Shugden issue is being exploited by China. The sad thing is no matter how hard they try, they come up with NOTHING nada zilch because its just not happening. And whatever "evidence" they have are statements released BY China ie. things China wants them to know. Their anti-China agenda is so bleedin obvious and the fact they are being played like a piano is hilarious.

The irony is if its column inches the medias worried about, theyd sell more if they highlighted how things have become Holocaust-esque for the Shugden people. Well, its not the Chinese leadership going about branding people nowadays, right

This is outright discrimination towards Dorje Shugden practitioners!!! A button to differentiate Dorje Shugden and non-Dorje Shugden monks!!! The CTA should unite all monks and give them the highest respects instead of segregating them.

That's the CTA for you. They start something and fan the Tibetans into a frenzy. Then they go into auto mode and the CTA sit back and kick up their heels. When this particular campaign dies off, they'll think of another.

That will continue unless, somehow the world wakes up and see the details. China may not smell of roses but they did admit their mistakes though they did not make much concession about the political situation. But, there are improvements in terms of religious freedom in China nowadays with sponsored mass initiations by high lamas.
