New Delhi — "As far as the historical status is concerned, Tibet was an independent country. Any country including India or whoever says Tibet was historically a part of China is wrong, and we cannot accept that," Tibetan President said during a press conference in New Delhi, the capital of India on Thursday.

Speaking at Press Club of India on January 18, 2018 in New Delhi, the President of the Central Tibetan Administration, Dr Lobsang Sangay responded to several questions and comments from member of media, including Asian Age Newspaper, Samvadh Sindhi Newspaper, Law and Business Review, Buddhist Times, Asahi Shimbun-Japanese newspaper, and Sunday Guardian Newspaper.

Considering that Tibet being recognised as part of China forms official stance of most countries around the world especially the developed ones (i.e. the source of CTA’s financial aids), basically Lobsang Sangay is saying, “You are all wrong but I will take your monies anyway”.

Seriously, at this juncture he should really focus his energy on a more pragmatic solution instead of harping on an issue which does not contribute towards positively furthering the Tibetan cause and also attempting to instigate continued/more negative sentiments towards China.

Then again, maybe that is too much to expect of Lobsang Sangay or CTA who are only there to capitalise on the suffering of Tibetan for their own self-interests.

More and more countries are playing it safe and officially recognising Tibet as part of China, with Botswana being the latest to do so http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/news/tibetans-rejected-by-botswana/ . Yet, Lobsang Sangay is still focusing on things which do little to further the return of Tibetans in exile to Tibet despite his promise. Then again, there is only so much he can handle at the moment and he is too pre-occupied with milking the situation to deepen his own pockets before he runs out of time considering that it is obvious from his action thus far that his priorities have always been his own interest.

It is amazing how the Tibetan President Lobsang Sangay can deny the truth! Well, Tibet is part of China anyway according to all the countries who are in good terms with China...

So, which country is left that is in good terms with the Tibetan Government in Exile? All we can see is invitations for the Tibetan President being cancelled... and even the Tibetans are tired of their leadership:

So much for reality check!
