I do not think that Carol and her gang will ever realize the grave mistake for them to leave their guru in the first place and proceed to spread rumors about them which caused him a lot of problems. All those kindness tha that the Guru has spread will not continue to resume the long

Imagine that her rumors might be the cause for someone to stop learning the Dharma and run away for their guru just like her. All the negative karma that she has to bear is extremely heavy.

I do hope that Carol will be able to wake up and examine her own actions right now and apply the 4 opponent powers to reduce the qualities of the people. people. It is not for learning their Vajra master. In Tibetan Buddhism, it is even worst in the Tibetan Buddhism continuity.

Carol is a very good example of how anger, greed, and jealousy can bring us down more and more. Buddhism is a practice of mind, to examine what is in our mind, acknowledge it and abandon the negative habituation or work hard to get rid of the habituation. Buddha Shakyamuni has proven to us that Dharma can get rid of suffering, there is no doubt. If we don't feel that, it means we have not applied Dharma in our lives!

Carol has the good merits to meet her teacher Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, who is a great master. However, Carol didn't have enough merits to continue to support her to see the good qualities of the teacher and continue to progress in her spiritual journey. Everything started with a small wrong view on the teacher and things just start to get worse.

Carol's wrong view on the teacher has blinded her to see the truth. Even though she is still in the Buddhist scene but what she is doing is the total opposite of what Buddhism is. She disparages her teacher who is a Buddha. She is creating the cause to be further away from Dharma. In the 50 Stanzas of Guru Devotion, it is said that if we disparage the Buddha, we will go to hell. It looks like Carol will end up in hell.

It is such a pity that Carol has the good merits to find a qualified and attained Buddhist master as her teacher but she doesn't have the merits to see the good qualities of her teacher. If Carol sees the good qualities of her teacher, she will have the chance to gain some realisation or attainment and there is a chance she can liberate herself from suffering.

Carol's wrong view on her teacher is most likely due to the ripening of her n negative karma. Therefore, it is important for us to engage in purification practice because we don't know what kind of karma we have created in our past lives. When the condition is right for the negative karma to ripen, our mind might become so deluded like Carol that we start to do the opposite of what Dharma is teaching us to do. It is scary.

If we have a teacher, our teacher will help us to purify our karma. But we have to be ready and surrender completely for the teacher to do the job. If we don't have guru devotion or fully trust our teacher, he will not be able to guide us to the correct path. Carol had a chance to be liberated from suffering but she blew it due to her negative karma and wrong view.

If Carol is really shutting down the hate group she created, it will be something worth rejoicing for. It is not good to spread hate speech or to talk about people negatively online. It is worse if the subject of discussion is a monk or a nun.

To disparage a Sangha member, we are indirectly making people lose faith in Buddhism. These people might turn to another religion or some will lose faith in religion completely. Their opportunity to be liberated is taken away and they have to suffer more in Samsara. The kind of negative karma collected is tremendous.

For her own sake, Carol should really close down the hate group she created. It does nothing good to herself and not to anyone else. She is collecting a lot of bad karma for herself.

The amount of negative karma that Carole is creating is scary. It is stated clearly that those who disparage their qualified spiritual guide will have to spend a very long time in the Avici Hell, the hell of uninterrupted pain. This is the worst hot hell that anyone can go where the suffering there is so immense that it is equal to all the suffering of the 6 realms and the 6 hot hells above it combined.

Actually, her actions are totally uncalled for. If she thinks that the spiritual master is not suitable for her, she could have told her guru very nicely and request to follow another guru or leave. I believe the negative karma will be much lesser than what she had created now.

The hate group is just a manifestation of the ego of the members inside that group. All of them needed someone to back them up to say they made the right choice to leave because deep down they feel guilty and ashamed for leaving. They know the problem is themselves and they are just too chicken to face it. Hence, they need some voice to drown that down.

Geshe-la is definitely a beneficial teacher, having started to many Kadampa centers worldwide.

Since there are no Buddhas who have achieved buddhahood, without the correct reliance on a Guru, so it must be true that the act of Carol, to criticize her Guru and his organisation is wrong.

How many successful people in the world, who criticized their teacher and became big successes. Zero I think.

Exactly. It is unbelievable that even the kindest guru will have monster students like Carole who backstab her guru and harm her guru after all the kindness that she received. I guess when our attachments overpower our merits to be with the guru, we will eventually leave the guru no matter how much kindness we have received from our guru before.

Carole will definitely regret when she recalls back her actions which harmed herself and her guru so much. In fact, whatever harmful deeds that she had done will only come back to harm herself because her guru is an enlightened being and he could not be harmed.

All the negative karma that she created will come back to her one day and it will manifest on her since she has lost the protection from her guru and also her protector. Her protector will not be able to help her during those time due to the amount of negative karma that she has created.

Geshela definitely is a great teacher and he has benefitted many people. He has established thousands of Dharma centers all around the world to preserve and spread Buddhism. If what he has taught is not the truth, it is impossible he will have so many students.

Due to her own anger, Carolle McQuirre started a hate group to put Geshela and NKT down. Some members in her group disrespect Geshela's Dharma book. What they don't know is, they are creating a lot of bad karma to themselves. By disparaging their teacher, it is as good as disparaging a Buddha, they will end up in Avichi hell.

Carolle should be regretful of what she has done and do something about it. Karma accumulates, the more she delay to do the purification practice, the heavier the negative karma will be for her. Never ever criticise a monk whether or not we agree with what they are doing.

There is no way Carole McQuirre would able to pull down NKT. What Carol did to defame NKT has no effect as there is nothing much to talk about. It's amazing to see how Carole spend her time to keep being hatred to defame Buddhist organization. How much negative karma collected from this? It will be good for Carole to mend her samaya with her Guru and do something for the center. It will not be good to carry this baggage and is better to deal with it now before it's too late. We can see that if the center is genuine with the teaching there is nothing to be talk bad about.

It was said that Carol left the centre because she could not get the attention she wanted from Geshela. Out of anger, she set up the hate group to put NKT and Geshela down. It is quite sad to see how a student has forgotten the kindness of the teacher and started to attack and harm the guru.

Carol was an ordained nun before, she would have studied enough to know how to behave as a student and the right way to treat the teacher. When she accepted Geshela as her guru, she has to view Geshela the same as a Buddha so she can get the blessings for her spiritual practice. This is very important for Vajrayana Buddhist to understand and to follow.

By setting up a hate group, Carol is disparaging Geshela and causing others to have doubt in Dharma. Some will lose faith in Dharma and stop practising. Carol has taken away the opportunity of others to be liberated from suffering. She has definitely created a tremendous amount of negative karma.
