I dont think the absence of the Geshe title makes him any less of a scholar. Geshe Keslang Gyatso has already achieved the Geshe rank, and its not  just by name as he has the practices and knowledge to back him up. So just because the monastery decided to be pro Dalai Lama and tells everyone he is not a Geshe anymore, it does not take away his attainments and knowledge as a Geshe. How could that even be logically possible, for a monastery to take away someone's attainments just by taking away their status? These NKT detractors really have too much time and hatred to spout such nonsense.

Slander against Shugden Lamas is becoming more and more rampant.  The best one so far is to talk about them being not qualified as in the case of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

I don't care how qualified he is but to just have a look at what he has accomplished in propagating the tradition of Dorje Shugden and able to establish NKT with over 1,200 centres in the world.

So much he has done while some other High monk is stopping the propitiation.  So what is important, that Dorje Shugden tradition grows or Geshe Kelsang Gyatso qualifications?
