South East Asia’s Choice of Karmapa

This is momentous for the Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, felt so much joy to see him going around all over South East Asia to spread the Buddha Dharma. Looking at his picture of serenity is an indication that he has matured a lot in the last few years in his work to bring the dharma to many others.

True DharmaSpace. I am rejoicing from my heart to read of another highly attained being continuing to spread the Buddha's teachings. It is just too sad that the man-made issues created by some politicians greedy for power and influence have leared it's ugly head into religious matters. But I am still waiting faithfully for the time when the good would overcome the current situation for the true teachings of Buddha would stand the test just like I am praying for the day the ban on Dorje Shugden practice would be lifted very soon.

The Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje is also very sought after in Asia, especially in China for he speaks good Chinese and also seen to confer initiation of a deity that is related to the Chinese culture. He has received a lot of donations because of that. I would also think that he is the Asian choice in this sense.

It is evident from his actions that Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje’s focus is always on the Dharma. To name but a few, it is obvious from how he put aside the controversy about the appointment and forged on with his effort in spreading the Dharma; to how he advised his supporters to conduct themselves in a manner befitting of a Dharma practitioner (and leading by example) during the trying times of the passing of Kunzig Shamar Rinpoche Mepham Chokyi Lodro (http://www.dorjeshugden.com/all-articles/features/true-spiritual-leadership-karmapa-vs-dalai-lama/); to his tireless efforts of spreading the Dharma bearing much success. Logically, if the motivation is not pure then his efforts would not have bore fruit. It is also only logical that there be cause to rejoice for having a genuine teacher in our midst that is able and willing to give Dharma teachings regardless of the status of such teacher. At the end of the day, what really matters is that many can come to receive the Dharma and that the teachings transmitted in the Kagyu tradition remain intact.

Enlightened beings are proven by their deeds and Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje certainly is one. He has risen above the controversy created by the ugly and dirty politics. He had kept quiet and focused solely on spreading the precious dharma to the people. Just as the Shugden Lamas, keeping the purity of the lineage teachings and spreading the true teachings of Buddha on wisdom and compassion, so too Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje does.
His teaching events are always crowded with followers prove that he is accepted and loved in South East Asia. May he continue to bless the people with his very long life and continue turning of the Wheel of Dharma.

This is just such a great article. It is just such great news that enlightened beings like that are spreading the dharma all over the world. it is such nice news that great masters like this rise above the controversy and they are spreading the pure dharma to more people.
