Losing Tibet may outwardly seem very bad for Tibetans. And as Tibetans would find any opportunities to move elsewhere, this could be the best possibility to spread the Tibetan culture, spirituality and Dharma to places Tibetans have never imagined.

I do agree.

Regarding culture, we can loose our culture right in our own country!

The power of media is one of the biggest factor which infiltrates homes and minds of young children...and before we know it, our children have a different culture than the parents in just one generation gap, right under our noses...

Perhaps the Buddha Dharma is going all over the world...to people of all nationality, color, and race, where karma is ripe for it.

Thank you for sharing the news. It's such a sad thing to read about, life is indeed so fragile, we'll never know when's our last day that is why we should do whatever that's necessary before everything's too late. At least nephew Norbu died doing something good.
