Dear Losang,

I can't read this biography but i was just wondering... isn't the author of this biography someone who gave up Shugden practice? In this article http://dorjeshugden.com/wp/?p=169, you say that Serkong Tritul does not practice any more. But this biography is of a great Shugden master - isn't that a bit contradictory? What does Serkong Tritul say about Shugden practice in this biography? Perhaps you can translate some parts for non-Chinese readers like me.

Although HH Serkong Tritul Rinpoche have no practice Dorje Shugden now,
but inside this biography, Serkong Tritul Rinpoche still record biography of Trijang Rinpoche including incidents which is related to Dorje Shugden. Seems no part is omitted deliberately. 

In page 23 and 24 shows Dorje Shugden helps in find incarnation of HH Trijang Rinpoche,

When asking about incarnation of HH Trijang Rinpoche, King Possessing Strength (Dorje Shugden) replies "Same like desire of previous life, birth in south of Gaden Monastery, father is cheng-yi, mother is du-mu....."

Name list of these three boys present to the King Possessing Strength (Dorje Shugden) who is Dharma Protector of HH 1st Trijang Rinpoche and the 2nd Trijang Rinpoche,  King Possessing Strength (Dorje Shugden) replies "Father's name is Chang-Shou-Cheng-Yi, Mother's name is "Chang Shou Du Mu. His Holiness born on 12 Mac in Iron Ox year. He is real incarnation of my teacher.... "

Other incident like HH Pabongka Rinpoche pass the teaching about practice of Dorje Shugden to HH 3nd Trijang Rinpoche also included....

I can't wait for the english version to be out. Loshangshenpin how different is this bio from the 
'Illusory Play' http://dorjeshugden.com/articles/trijang-rinpoche-bio-complete.pdf here? I know the Illusory Play was written By Trijang Lama himself and this one now by Kadam Trichen. Apart from that any other significant differences.

Not that I mind reading a student's view of his illustrious master's bio. I rejoice for Kadam Trichen to come out his  lama's autobiography really, it is guru devotion and I do believe Kadam Trichen is very proud to have come under Trijang Rinpoche's care and guidance. I still think Kadam Trichen though publicly does not endorse/pray to Dorje Shugden I do think he is practising it. If one's root lama engaged in practises that harmed the Dalai Lama or Tibet why write a bio about him? 

And if Dorje Shugden cannot be practised anymore why write about Trijang Lama was identified by Dorje Shugden, if a negative being / spirit found my root lama, i would have doubt whether my lama is the right one or not won't I?

In Biography of HH 3rd Trijang Rinpoche written by Kadham Trichen Rinpoche, there is more details in content.
Including where he go, what's he teaching, when, where, even time and who attended, when His Holiness's guru passing the teaching to him, what's HH doing day to day and many incidents and its details which cannot find in  Illusory Play.

I like this biography, because it tells the story of His Holiness from day to day, from month to month, from year to year. I learnt a lot from this biography.

Readers can know more about a daily life story of a lama, the culture and tradition in Tibet, study environment, this biography is like a diary, and there are also many dialog included....

Feels like go inside the story.
I drop tears when reading the part of HH 3rd Trijang Dorjechang passing into light...
The details of funeral of HH also written...
Include write bodhi flows out from HH's right nostril, red bodhi flows out from HH's left nostril.
Children see the rainbow surround the dalamusala... colourful relics disappear and more
It's so touching...

Only question is that by 1981, Triul should be around 14 studying in Gaden, not even 'enthroned' yet, so from whom he got those additional details about Trijiang Rinpoche in the biography?

Many guru of Serkong Tritul Rinpoche mentioned in the biography, maybe he know it from his guru.
Serkong Tritul Rinpoche have more than 20 guru s, include HH Trijang Dorjechang.

Buddha know everything, haha...

Wow the Illusory play was such a huge volume of work, this chinese publication has so much more additions means the chinese publications is even a bigger set of work.

Do the Green Kadhampas study the same topics as the rest of the Gelug tradition ?  Lamrim and Lojong ?

Heard from a friend from this group said that after forming the 'green lineage', the HYT related sadhana and even mantra changed.  They started to use their own 'digging out from some old scripture' or via 'mental vision' etc...other than Pabongka Rinpoche's.

Kadhampa still study lamrin and etc.
The mantra word change because of incorrect pronounce in chinese before.

For example: Dharma
Because chinese didn't got "r" pronounce, so before read like this "Da-li-ma"
After Rinpoche create the new chinese words, now chinese-speaking person can pronounce "Dharma" correctly.

Seems although it change from chinese pronounce before, but now can pronounce correctly according to original pronounce.

according to my friend, reason for change is not 'correct pronunciation' but really 'changed', per above reason, ...anyway no need to drag on
