Dear Mana, thank you for the sharing of this information, indeed, this thangka is very beautiful and stunning.
So, since Dorje Shugden has saved Dalai Lama’s life in 1959 and later on Dalai Lama’s teaching benefitted so many people. I would not believe that the Dalai Lama will ban the practice of Dorje Shugden, especially when he is known as the emanation of Chenrezig, this does not make sense at all.
Furthermore, since Dalai Lama is already been known as the spiritual leader, why would he want to split up the Buddhism apart and take over it as a supreme leader? Does it sound logic? Everytime when there some issue going on, there will be lots of rumours flying around, and normally people will just pluck one as they feel comfortable with and to believe it as truth, but they didn’t realize as sometimes when they walk one step back and think it over again, they will find that what they used to believe as truth, actually it does not make sense.
What I see about this ban is actually a huge purification process of the collective karma from the Dorje Shugden practitioner is having by going through all these difficulties, sufferings, etc… When they are able to overcome all these obstacles, a stronger faith developed, a stable mind is formed, with this; they would be able to advance further in their spiritual practice and to benefit even more people.
