An incredible revelation has come to light about the H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama’s perilous escape from Tibet, and the truth about who really saved his life during those most dangerous times.

Some very courageous monks from both Gaden and Sera Monasteries have revealed many very interesting facts as below, which contradict what has been popularized. The truth has been covered up and denied by the Tibetan Government since the escape of the Dalai Lama and his people in 1959.

    First, it was under H.H. Trijang Rinpoche’s advice that the Dalai Lama sought the counsel of the enlightened Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden through the most famous oracle in the land, Panglung Oracle.
    By following Dorje Shugden’s instructions, the Dalai Lama escaped many terrible fates. For example, once, when the Chinese invaded the Norbulingka Palace (Dalai Lama’s summer home), they literally could not see the Dalai Lama and so he was not harmed. At that time, the Dalai Lama was carrying a Dorje Shugden thangka.
    Through the Panglung Oracle, Dorje Shugden advised the Dalai Lama to leave Tibet immediately and advised him which route to take. Dorje Shugden assured that he would protect the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama followed this instruction and left immediately. The day after, the Dalai Lama’s palace, the Potala, was completely shelled and bombed. He and his entourage were protected throughout the escape and arrived in India safely.
    The Gaden monks explained that the Dalai Lama had made an offering of THIS THANGKA PAINTING to his Guru Trijang Rinpoche. However, when he needed to escape Tibet, the Dalai Lama requested Trijang Rinpoche to borrow this thangka as protection. Knowing the tremendous benefit that the Dalai Lama would bring to the world through teachings and the Tibetan Buddhist lineage, Trijang Rinpoche immediately lent him the thangka.
    The Dalai Lama carried this thangka on his back throughout his escape towards India.
    All this points clearly to the fact that Dorje Shugden saved the Dalai Lama’s life and helped him escape unscathed from the dangers in Tibet.
    This thangka still exists and is currently preserved by the monks of Trijang Ladrang in Gaden Monastery.
    As the Dalai Lama escaped, he was accompanied by an entourage of 30 monks from Sera Monastery. To this day, these Sera monks remember that the Dalai Lama had consulted Dorje Shugden and been advised to leave Tibet when he did. They also remember that the Dalai Lama carried this particular Dorje Shugden thangka. Now, the Dalai Lama has instituted a ban against Dorje Shugden, claiming that he is an evil spirit and will harm the Dalai Lama’s life. This is totally illogical! Why would Dorje Shugden help the Dalai Lama escape Tibet safely, and now be a threat to his life? Because of the ban, Dorje Shugden devotees have been attacked and families have been separated; monks are denied welfare and even expelled from their monasteries, which is unheard of in Buddhist history.

The thangka that His Holiness the Dalai Lama carried with him. Borrowed from His Holiness Trijang Rinpoche, this thangka assured the Dalai Lama's safe escape from Tibet. Upon his safe arrival in India, this thangka was returned to Trijang Rinpoche by the Dalai Lama and until this very day, this thangka is enshrined in a very honoured, special place in Trijang Rinpoche's personal house in Gaden. This is the actual thangka that the Dalai Lama carried in a container on his back throughout the whole 1959 exodus

 

Gen Jampa, Jangchub Norbu, Gen Dawa spoke passionately about the ban and how people had attempted to harm His Holiness Trijang Rinpoche. These monks are seniors and leaders in the monastery, and very devoted students of the late previous Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche. These are the monks who revealed the information about the Dorje Shugden thangka and are now the guardians of this thangka in Trijang Ladrang

The Tibetan exiled Government in India makes defamatory reports to the police about Dorje Shugden practitioners. They spread rumours that these practitioners are Chinese spies and even try to stop Dorje Shugden practitioners from entering India!

Because the current young incarnation of Trijang Rinpoche continues to practice Dorje Shugden, there have been attacks on his life. Monks have revealed that masked men charged into Trijang Ladrang in Gaden Monastery carrying sticks and wanting to kill Trijang Rinpoche. Fortunately, many monks protected him. In 1995, because of the many threats on his life, the 15-year-old Trijang Rinpoche left India to America. The main reason he left the monastery was the many threats on his life due to this ban on Dorje Shugden.

There is now talk among monks that the Dalai Lama wants to be the spiritual leader of all schools of Buddhism in the world, like a pope of Buddhism. He is achieving this by breaking apart smaller schools of Buddhism – such as by instituting this ban and creating splits within lineages so as to weaken them. It is his hope that when these schools are weakened and have no strong leader, he will be able to step in as supreme head to all Buddhist sects everywhere. Without the Holiness Dalai Lama, Buddhism wouldn't be as cool and hip as it is today, (sorry for the lack of  a better word), and who in the world does not know of the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama has made Buddhism has mass appeal among the learned.

Imagine a person who has practised Dorje Shugden for so many years and Dorje Shugden has saved you also, that is not something easily forgotten.  If the Dalai Lama is so ungrateful I doubt his words can move so many people, he can command an audience of 70k to spur them to engage in spirituality further and deeper. If one's actions does not match what they say, the words has no power. The Dalai Lama is deliberately creating the ban and the circumstances behind it to further Dorje Shugden.

More and more we get evidences that show the intentions behind the ban, for without this intention, the Dalai Lama's actions are REALLY incomprehensible.

I don't think Dalai Lama action for this ban is searching for power and status for his own purposes.

Reason :
1) DL guru is Trijang rinpoche
2) DL is manifestations of Avalokiteshvara
3) DL also one of the key person to spread buddhism to the world

Maybe DL plan is looking for bigger picture in the future which not ordinary people like us can understand. I noticed highly attained lama due to their claivoyance always plan things for future 10,20 even 50years.

Maybe DL action such as borrow thangka from trijang rinpoche and return also one of his plan too so that DS supporters have things to proof to the world. This action made DS famous !

May ban will lifted asap so less suffering.

Even if they got fame and money (with the deepest respect) they arent going to be around long to enjoy it...so whats the point? They might as well tell the truth.

Yes, the CTA has tried very hard to cover the facts for years with their bans and threats. Their karma will eventually catch up with them. As we gather facts and evidents, the sequence of events unfold themselves............

First, I would like to thank the core people behind Dorjeshugden.com who tirelessly and consistently work towards all facts findings about the ban. Without them, I am sure some of us may still be blurred, kept in the dark or just go with the main strream to avoid problems.

It is CRYSTAL CLEAR that Dorje Shugden has helped HHDL to escape without harm from China to India, this coupled with the testimonies from the living monks from Sera monastery.

The Scared DS thangka that HHDL borrowed from HH Trijang Rinpoche is now being enshrined in Gaden Monastery speaks huge volume. Why would such a DS thangka be still allowed in Trijang Ladrang in Gaden if it is not for the "clear minds" to see through the bits and pieces of the whole picture. And also why would the throne of 101th Gaden Tripa be still allowed in the prayer hall of Gaden Monastery when after the tenure, His Eminence has sworn to join Shar Gaden?

On a side track, just to refresh some of our memory, Samgong Rinpoche has said openedly that he followed his instructions from his Guru, Trijang Rinpoche, to serve HHDL well. And everyone knows Trijang Rinpoche is the lineage holder of DS practice. This is another "hint" for the "clearer minds" to puzzle all the pieces up.
Samdong Rinpoche may looked evil during the DS ban, but when he said this, nothing is clearer as his GURU Devotion to Trijang Rinpoche.

I guess, if we paste all these puzzles up, not only do we realise how intricate the enlightened minds work behind all our delusions, but it will be a good movie script too for the " Plot of the DS Ban"!

The Dalai Lama is the producer/director of this whole script of "DS Ban". Maybe it was advise from the protector himself for the Dalai Lama to take such actions. NO matter what, it is great news that more and more evidence started to reveal itself and the ban will soon be lifted.

If we think about the history of Dorje Shugden, it has been surrounded by various manipulations to enable the manifestation of a powerful Protector to Lama Tsongkapa’s doctrine. From the communication between Nechung and Dultzin Dragpa Gyeltsen to the murder of Tulku Dragpa Gyeltsen, higher beings were at play to ensure that the “perfect” Protector for our time arises.

The plot only thickens as degeneration accelerates. More conditions need to be created for Lord Dorje Shugden’s practice to flourish and become known to millions as the world collective karma deteriorates in the 21st century. Thus, to suit our minds, controversies are orchestrated to draw our attention to Dorje Shugden. Think about it, the world gave HH attention because of the dire condition He was in: living in exile while His people were tortured and His culture face the threat of being extinguished. I believe that Buddhadharma would not be at this level of famousness if Dalai Lama is still living peacefully in Tibet.

In some way, history repeats itself. Only the “characters” and minor details change. Why is this? It certainly has little to do with Dorje Shugden and Dalai Lama as they are enlightened beings. However, it has much to do with us: we have not progressed much. If our spiritual awakening (the way we interact with ourselves and others) has not moved forward, it is unlikely that the scenes that unfold before our eyes will.

So, 2 stages of suffering have occurred for us to receive or come close to Dharma: 1st stage through HH the 14th Dalai Lama exile that made Tibetan Buddhism and Buddhism in general famous; 2nd stage through the ban imposed on Dorje Shugden and the slandering of Lord Dorje Shugden that made His practice famous.

The question in hand now, as the pieces are falling into place and the big picture becomes more visible, is: how will we practice the precious teachings of Lord Buddha with the protection of Lord Dorje Shugden so that the suffering incurred becomes worthwhile and many can benefit?

I think with so much good articles and factual info being written on the DS issue in this portal,  at the end of the day, if we keep an open mind and have faith in our Gurus and lineage,we will have to agree that the middle way view is still the best. If we look beyond what is right and wrong, from our side alone , we will have clearer unbiased view. Application of Buddhist wisdom does not mean it does not require sacrifice, or involve pain or suffering. If an action creates some  short term suffering, but long term permanent happiness is its result, then that is a wise action.
We also sometimes forget that we are dealing with issues in samsara, where we always have to decide between the ' lesser of the two evils'. Until we have realised the true nature of things,  and see beyond this dualistic world, this middle way approach will be the most beneficial , to avoid the dangers of being attached to extreme viewpoints which disturb our peace and others.

It has always  been clear that it was Dorje Shugden that saved the Dalai lama's life. Sadly Dorje Shugden is not honored as a hero and besides not being honored he is also called a demon and a devil. That just shows how ungrateful the Dalai Lama is. Without Dorje Shugden he wouldn't be alive today, without Dorje Shugden he would have been killed in Tibet together with the Potala palace.

There had been many evidence of the 14th Dalai Lama's life being saved by Dorje Shugden. If he had remained in Tibet, he would had been killed in the shelling together with great many attained Masters. Dear Big Uncle I agree with you.  Sometimes our mind is so limited and we do have projection and scenario of what will happen within our mind.  And due to this projection, we act in certain ways that is unbecoming and we take side preferring one side and have adverse feeling for the other side.  No matter how difficult it is, I always try to keep my faith in both Dorje Shugden and the Dalai Lama and when things get really difficult, Trijang Rinpoche's prediction has become my guidance. 

I have the same wish as Big Undle that in the very near future, the Dalai Lama, the Panchen Lama and Dorje Shugden will work together hand-in-hand to spread Dharma openly.
