Serpom Monastery's offical opening Dec 18th, 2011
« on: January 06, 2012, 01:00:08 PM »
The long awaited opening of Serpom Monastery has finally completed successfully. We went on the net and found these lovely videos of the grand opening. Whoever shot these videos really did a good job. You must take a look.

His Eminence Kyabje Yongyal Rinpoche is for the first time escorted into Serpom to become the first grand abbot of this powerful Dorje Shugden institution. Yongyal Rinpoche is enthroned by the Sangha of Serpom.

Shugden takes trance to bless the premises.

These videos will warm the hearts of many. Give hope to the supressed practitioners of Dorje Shugden. We thank the person who shot and posted this video for everyone's benefit.

Thanks Mana.

We are fortunate to live at this time, though in the age of the kali yuga but still surrounded by many who have great courage, unshaken devotion, exemplary practitioners and holders of the vinaya. By not giving up the practice, the blessings continues. The younger monks will grow up to pass on the teachings while the older monks are superb in teaching by example. The videos and the article link mana shared http://dorjeshugden.com/wp/?p=10965 says it all!

The Serpom Monastery's official opening on Dec 18th, 2011 really grant and wonderful! I really inspired what had done by the monastery. How nice to see all monks chanting for a new monastery established. That means Dharma will be grow very fast in this region especially Dorje Shudgen's practice.

Serpom Monastery is a new monastery for DS be spread more widely, because I read from internet that all those guest who be invited came from different countries. Seem Dorje Shugden like a international protector.

The video also recorded that DS take trance, it is very completed. Thank you!

The video is amazing, it show clearly how protector still taking trance thru oracle to give us blessing and advices in this modern time. DS have not forgotten his promise to serve the dharma and benefit all sentient beings. But I think CTA forget what they have promised to reimbursed all the monasteries which gave away their property to the DS monasteries. By the way if they can “forget” they are supposed to be independence years ago, what is new…

Serpom monastery started with nothing. All the monks need to raise fund, get all the materials together, make sure the construction and renovation is done well, they need to do all these. Yet, the “respected” CTA still add frost to snow, CTA still dare to asked the people around that area do not even walk in front to Serpom, because that’s the path to hell.

CTA, please remember these are the monks from the same region, you all are from the roots. Why don’t you gang up to fight outside but killing each other? This is the compassion that you have learn from HHDL ?

Thank you for the video. You are right, it is superbly shot, capturing every key moment.

It is so joyful to see the sheer happiness and excitement of the sangha as they celebrate this auspicious day. It must mean so much to them to finally have a home after having no sense of belonging and being shunned by the general public for so long (due to the ostracizing of Dorje Shugden practitioners).

I read once that “once you have climbed Mount Everest, all other mountains will be easier”. The hardest time may have passed and Dorje Shugden practitioners have certainly climbed and conquered Mount Everest in their determination and sincerity to continue their practice of the Great King. I believe and continue to pray that brighter days are coming for these powerful upholders of Dorje Shugden’s practice and Lama Tsongkapa’s lineage.

It is good to check out the post about Yongyal Rinpoche in the forum. Very informative and adds to the sense of good fortune that such high masters are amongst us during this degenerate time.

How wonderful an event!
I do rejoice over it.

This event demonstrates once more that the ban is illusory!
What happens today is a large propitiation of Dorje Shugden, and with Him, the teachings of Nagarjuna as explained so clearly by Lama Tsongkhapa.
What is happening today is the demonstration of the commitment and skills of the Buddhas to give sentient beings, however degenerated this age is, the opportunity to practice spirituality, accumulate merits and create causes for enlightenment.

This is Buddhism in full swing, we just need to open our eyes.

What a grand occasion! It is so great to see another DS monastary opened its doors to spread the lineage of Tsongkhapa teachings and the protector pratice to benefit more, it is so great to see all the high lamas working patiently despite of the ban, together with all the practitioners, they stand tall and firm that Dorje Shugden will prevail the ban.

I love the clarity of the video, the quality is superb, one of the best I have seen. Thank you so much for the person who filmed all these. The part which I played over and over again to see is the part when DS took trance and blessed everyone. Just love being in the presence of the King!

I wish one day I have the good fortune to visit Serpom Monastary and witness the King taking trance in person!

What a grand and auspicious event! Another DS monastery to spread Lama Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden practice! Wow I like the part where the King took trance and blessed everyone present and also the monks chanting. The video is very well recorded and it is very touching.

It is very inspiring to know that despite the ban and hardship, these monks managed to raise funds to build this monastery. Due to their unshaken faith and devotion to Dorje Shugden, they now have a place to do their practice.

May Dorje Shugden spread far and wide from Serpom Monastery. May we all have the merits to visit Serpom Monastery in the near future.

Take a close look at the video. It is really interesting how four various unique protectors take trance of this oracle monk blessed/trained by H.H. Trijang Rinpoche.

Kyabje Yongyal Rinpoche, a great lineage holder of the Gaden Secret Oral traditon pays homage to Shugden in trance along with other senior monks. Yongyal Rinpoche makes offerings to Shugden, but Kache Marpo rises from his throne to make offerings to Yongyal Rinpoche.

I really enjoy and feel blessed to see the oracle videos. I've downloaded it onto my laptop to watch again and again. I like to show friends. They find it fascinating. It reassures me very much to see Shugden, Setraba and Kache Marpo taking trance. All the sangha and high lamas are there to recieve these protectors.

Wish I was there.

These videos will definitely warm the hearts of many and give hope to the supressed practitioners of Dorje Shugden. I realised there are so many people like me outside there! There are so many highly attained lamas are with me. It proves to me what i practising now is the right one!

I rejoice for Serpom Monastery. I wish to be there one day, sit together with the monks there and chant Dorje Shugden's mantra together.  8)

With such a huge monastery opening, I rejoice that there will be many more monks graduate from the monastery and benefit more people, especially many more Dorje Shugden practitioners.

I did a search on internet, there are quite a number of interesting videos uploaded by Shar Gaden under the "imspeakingthetruth" account:

What a grand and auspicious event! I'm rejoice for the opening of Serpom monastery! Here we have another monastery provide DS practitioners a platform to practice. I can see DS is growing and more believers is joining the force, putting effort to lift the ban. Hopefully the ban can be removed in the very near future, so that all DS devotees can openly and freely practice DS and reach out to the rest of the world, benefit the world.

I sincerely thank the people who shot this precious video and share with us online. It was amazing! for us who couldn't make a trip down there to witness this historical event, by watching the video is already a blessing! Looking at the oracle who took trance of our great king, it truly tells us that DS can't be wrong…for those who are blinded by the ban and stop practicing, it's your loss.

Another Shugden Monastery!  Such a grand monastery, I rejoice for them very much!  The monastery looks fantastic, traditional yet with a modern touch.  Of course, as I can see from many responses most of us are fascinated with the trance session.  It is so rare to see the oracle takes trance of the various Buddhas including the incomparable King Shugden and Setrap!  How many High Lamas were there to pay respect!  And so many people attended.  It doesn't seem like the practice is banned at all!  :)

Shugden practitioners are definitely growing and stronger.  It is all determination and guru devotion that brought us together.  How silly it is to disparage the protector!  Hundreds and thousands of Dharma teachers will be produced by the monastery to benefit beings and protector wouldn't want it otherwise!!

Thanks Mana for sharing this great video.

It’s really touches and rejoices to even just watch the video. The monastery look fantastic, and I never see any monks who are depressing due to the ban. Although this is the most crucial time and HHDL brought up the DS issue again during the Kalachakra initiation in Bodhgaya recently.
I really have no idea why HHDL will react that way, but one thing for sure, this ban make a lot people suffer. By the opening of another DS monastery, its proven protector never ever stop to protect TKP teaching or anyone who practice it.
Thanks

WOW! 4 protectors took trance during the opening of Serpom's new prayer hall! I know 3 of them, Dorje Shugden, Setrab and Kache Marpo. Does anyone here know the name of the fourth protector and the functions/nature of this protector? I heard from some friends this protector is a female.

Among all the protectors who took trance, Lord Setrab was very very wrathful/fierce..true to His nature! Kache Marpo, Dorje Shugden's minister was the coolest of all, walking around the prayer hall to make offerings to the abbot of Serpom as well as to all the Buddha statues and Protectors.

Which protector is your favourite and why?
