What a beautifully written national anthem. The lyrics are just like a Buddhist prayer. I googled a few countries' national anthems, and almost all of them are about advancing the country, celebration of freedom of their country, about building the country to become successful... but Tibet's national anthem goes straight to the point of what every countrymen wants really - happiness! It sings about compassion, it sings for happiness for everyone throughout the world. Wow! I am not surprised that such a song came from none other than the great Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche. If you come across another country's national anthem that wishes for the happiness and prosperity of other countries beside their own.. do let me know who wrote it. Imagine if every country changes their national anthem to this kind of lyrics.. then world peace is near!
Also, the government websites of the countries I googled.. they do give credit to the author of their national anthem. CTA conveniently left this important information out. Sneaky. But good news can never be contained for long anyway! Thanks to this forum, now I know the composer of Tibet's National Anthem =D
