I am also attracted to the main form of Dorje Shugden who looks approachable to anyone who is seeking assistance and help. If I have to choose between the four forms, Wangze would be my choice. I feel this is the most suitable form for our time now as his main function is control. Control here meant controling the difficult mind and bringing calm and peace to one's mind. As we all know very well that he is the speech emanation of Dorje Shugden, he is the form that will assist practitioners to spread the teachings of DS.

Wangze : control emanation (for taming very difficult minds, bringing peace and calming people with very difficult minds). I think I have a difficult mind, this is mind which cause me suffering. I wish I can controlling the mind and overcoming all unfavorable conditions or feeling which other people have towards me.

In Buddhism we always  says that all the results of happiness and suffering are caused by one's own karma and this way karma is created by one's own mind. That is why is important to control our mind.

Below is a video I found featuring statues of the five families made by Kadampa students under the directions of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. I had shivers watching the video. I thought to myself wouldn't it be nice to have all five families on my altar? I wonder if any organizations out there make smaller versions of the five families. I will be the first to invite them home!

The size like the brass statue of the main form sold @ the online shop is perfect. http://shop.dorjeshugden.com/statues/dorje-shugden-brass-statue.html

When I first came to know about Dorje Shugden, I was very attracted to Trakze. I like wrathfully deities in general, and the moment I saw his image in a friend's home, I literally could not take my eyes off him. My friend explained who he was, his function and benefits, and his lineage and I went home that same night to read up more about him online.

Later, I was fortunate enough to receive Shugden's practice from my lama, and since then I have been focusing on the practice of Dorje Shugden's main form as well as Gyenze. Gyenze was given to me because of the nature of my business, and the need back then for my business to grow for financial reasons. Ever since I started Gyenze's practice, things started to turn around slowly, then more rapidly as orders for my products came in without me even trying much. Recently this year, I invited home 2 wealth vases imbued with his energy from Shar Gaden monastery and they sits proudly on my protector shrine, one at home and another in my office.

My faith in Dorje Shugden is unshakeable, and i would recommend Gyenzd to anyone who has experienced the same problems that I had. His mantra is OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA TSESO PALJOR LONGCHO TAMCHED PUTRIM KURU OM.

If anyone is interested in his prayer, it can be found here: http://dorjeshugden.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=132&catid=22&&Itemid=42

I have also copied it below for your reading convenience.

HUM
Arisen from the play of various emanations,
In the illusory dance of non-dual great bliss and emptiness,
O Increaser, glory of the three worlds, please come to this place
Together with the nine great Mothers, hosts of Dharma Protectors and Wealth gods.

I offer vast clouds of outer, inner and secret offerings,
The auspicious signs and substances, close enjoyment offering, seven precious possessions,
Alcohol, tea, cakes, milk, and curd, fragrant smoke, tormas and so forth;
May you be pleased, O Increaser, Great King and your retinue.

As a devoted practitioner, I request you from my heart
To overcome all unfavourable conditions, obstacles and maras,
And increase my life span, merit, resources, good fortune,
Qualities of scripture and realization, listening and renown.

Of all emanations of Dorje Shugden, my personal favourite is of course the main form which is Dulzin who has been the main form of my meditations and visualizations. I think he is by far the most 'real' image that has ever come across my mind. When my friend showed me a tangkha of Dulzin Shugden from one of the pictures of his pilgrimages, it made a very deep impression in my mind and I wanted to know more about him and how is he related to my practice.

I soon grew to love love love him as the main form of Dorje Shugden who provides, protects and also propagates the holy Dharma of Lama Tsongkhapa.

I chanced by this wood carving of Dorje Shugden's face which I found online. I think he's cool!

Interesting question.
The main form is the one I am most used to actually, and therefore the more attracted to also.
The "specializations" that the other 4 forms do portray would be attractive depending upon what needs to be achieved at a particular time, I think.
But whichever form I look at, I see the same Dorje Shugden, so I find it is a rather difficult question to answer.

Dorje Shugden's five families is like a house of specialist doctors to look into our particular need at different times of our life.

There are beautiful pictures of the 5 emanations and I love them all.  However in any form, it is the same Protector but it is for the level of our minds and in great compassion and care, the same protection will prevail from the five families.

Quite true what you said, Wangze is getting my attention now. Apparently Wangze which belongs to Lotus family involves relationship with others, and attraction.

My favorite is the one I automatically recognize as an aspect of my Guru and have conviction I am really in his presence just as I would if another human walked into my room right now. The measure is to recognize what is happening in my mind each time I perceive an image of Holy beings. If I am alone perceiving images whether a shrine or book or computer, do I feel like I'm the only person there, or am I humbled continuously in the living presence of the Guru who is with me always?

When perceiving any image of Holy beings, having recognized and acknowledged my Guru's presence, my next favorite aspect of the Protector then becomes the one I automatically recognize as the nature of my own mind and the Guru as one nature in mahamudra.

I like all the 5 forms. Currently I am more attracted to Gyenze, which is the increase form, especially for increasing life, merit and prosperity. Without the merit to support me, I might not be able to continue my spiritual path. I would like to have the Dorje Shugden 5 families Tsa Tsa on my altar. Currently I have invited Gyenze,  Shize and Trakze.

I was just reading this article earlier and to be fairly honest I am a fan of all the forms of Dorje Shugden, but if I had to pick one, it would be: Gyenze.

Why? Because I the fact that He is able to increase resources, wisdom and also the fact that He can help Dharma teachings grow and spread, which to me is very much needed during this degenerate age where the people of this generation tend to stray away from religion.

I actually found this post quite interesting. I knew that Dorje Shugden had 4 emanations but i never thought to myself which one i liked best.

Now that i think about it, after a few minutes of thinking about all the forms of Dorje Shugden, my favourite emanation is Gyenze. He represents increase of wealth, resources, attainments, dharma teachings and wisdom. I think that Gyenze would benefit me in a sense that this emanation will help me spread the dharma with ease. By increasing wealth, resources and wisdom, we are able to provide more for the people who are interested in dharma as well as fund the dharma activities. This is all for the benefit of others, and that is why i have decided that Gyenze is my favourite.

I must say I like Wangze most as, I think, it helps us to control our inner and outer selves for our practice. I always have a monkey in me. All said, the control is to help with all aspects of the dharma practice and hence can only help one on their path

All the five emanation of DS is important to the practitioner, I think personally I think Wangsa is my favourite because it help to clear my view about sudden thought that come to me that will probably affected my practice because his energy he can clear a lot of wrong view we human being think is correct and a lot time because of this wrong view it actually move a person away from Dharma.
