The Enlightened Lamas series: http://www.dorjeshugden.com/category/great-masters/enlightened-lamas-series/In the light of the all the opposition against Dorje Shugden, it's important to understand and learn the true prominence of our protector throughout the history of our lineage. Also, to learn about the greatness of the lamas who have propitiated this protector and by understanding their accomplishments and contribution to Dharma, we realise that the protector cannot be something so evil and harmful if these lamas rely upon him.
Also, not just that they relied upon him but have further propitiated and been the cause of growth of his practice, written texts about him and prayers / praises to him. If this was really a "perfiduous spirit" as is so frequently claimed, then why have so many masters through the hundreds of years written so consistently about his enlightened nature? Further, it's not just Gelug lamas who have propitiated him. There are clear accounts too of how the Sakya masters have regarded him clearly as an enlightened being (as one with Chenrezig).
Another important aspect to look out for in these articles is the way in which many of these masters existed and practice before the time of Pabongka Rinpoche and were actively writing praises to and about him, and promoting his practice to thousands. This dispels the many claims that Dorje Shugden was just a minor small practice that was only promoted and grew during the time of Pabongka Rinpoche. These accounts show clearly that by the influence of these lamas through history, Dorje Shugden was already a clearly established and respected practice not only in Tibet but also in surrounding regions, such as Mongolia.
There is tremendous faith to be gained in reading these accounts and also to help us grow our belief and understanding in the true nature and power of our Dharmapala.
