How interesting... my own highlight in bold and red below and the lovely photo at the end of Mr. Xiao Wunan, the Executive Vice Chairman of APECF* and the 17th Karmapa! I am glad that "both parties had a pleasant talk about the issue of bilateral religious and cultural exchange". I mean, the CTA and the Dalai Lama have been requesting for a dialogue with the Chinese since forever in vain, but here the 17th Karmapa gets a courtesy call - albeit from the Executive Vice Chairman of an NGO.
What does it mean? Is the 17th Karmapa a Chinese spy? After all, the CTA keeps calling Shugden practitioners Chinese spies.
See this other thread, "The 17th Karmapa and the 11th Panchen Lama – a Chinese conspiracy?"
