Well, we can sure lecture China on what should and should not be done. However, the truth of the matter is the fact that she will not listen. The only way around it is to let her do what she wants and over time as people get more exposed and a new generation of leaders take over, things will improve. As for the Tibetan situation, I really cannot say much except that more awareness should be brought into the Tibetan region to highlight the plight of the Tibetan people.
I am sure with the right connections and the massive awareness, things can change for the Tibetans like anywhere else. It is not going to be easy, I understand because the Chinese are paranoid with the Tibetan issue and do not wish to help, highlight or do anything for them because they are highly reactionary group. In the minds of the Chinese, the Tibetans are a nuisance that they wish to keep under wraps because they are afraid any help given to them would only empower them to turn around and fight for independence. It is a very old and archaic way of subjugating a minority and because of China's might, that's what's happening. However, things will definitely change over time I am sure.
