Prison of the Mind (video)
« on: April 29, 2013, 03:39:17 AM »
How does our mind work? Do we become what we believe in? And to make it believable the mind supports a person with various beliefs?

The video is an actual recording of how Byron Katie helps the inmates to discover how they, or we trapping ourselves with our own projections, beliefs, thoughts, justifications, whatever you can call them and holding on to them. In a sense we project ourselves to be the victim because of external circumstances and really we did become the victims.

Byron Katie does The Work with prison inmates, demonstrating that the real prison is an unquestioned mind, and that The Work can bring us freedom no matter where we are. It acts like a razor-sharp sword that cuts through illusions and enables you to know for yourself the timeless essence of your being. In 1986, Katie experienced an awakening that led to a revolutionary new process of inquiry. The Work of Byron Katie helps people to view their problems from an entirely different perspective.
