I agree that their attitude is really bad, they have not improved themselves at all.

With all that dharma being taught and they can still discriminate like that. It is just so sad to see them separating their own people and community like that. No matter what, a life is important, be it human or animal. We are all the same.

It's reflective of their lack of understanding and backwardness of the value of life and how much they actually value the life of others. It is also reflective of how little they understand and practice the Dharma as they think that the words of the Dalai Lama can overwrite everything else...but the Dalai Lama never said that they should refuse treatment for those who are practicing Dorje Shugden but they did it anyway. This is odd and sad that the would even put words in the Dalai Lama's mouth.

The people who go against Dorje Shugden and bar practitioners from getting the help they need.

They break the vows of compassion to Chenrezig and Buddha by denying spiritual adherents of treatment.

they break their vows by breaking their samaya with their Gurus.

They break the rules of International human rights conventions.

How will these people develop an iota of spiritual development?

What they are doing is not spiritual or Buddhist at all even as they happen to be running a monastery or that they are monks. Physical and outer appearances are nothing compared to what is being done and practiced. If they practice discrimination and still call themselves Buddhist, they're not no matter how they want to market themselves as. They just broke their vows and percepts by acting in ways that contradict the Buddhist ways almost completely. Which is why Drepung is not growing at all.

It is because of their backward thinking and actions that does not allow them to grow and flourish. They maybe dressed like monks, but what determines if they are true members of the Sangha or not would depend if they are able to keep to their vows, practice what they preach, and having the compassionate heart towards all sentient beings including Shugden practitioners.

But if they are not able to just follow things like that, twisting what the Dalai Lama had said to fit their extreme thinking, then it is just their negative karma that has caught up to them, not allowing them to know better on what to do.

I believe that their negative energies will stunt the growth of the monastery and will cause them to not grow for a long time until they change their attitude. I have heard that Ganden and Sera have started to lax on the ban on Dorje Shugden, but apparently, Drepung has not let go of the ban yet. You dont find this signboards in Ganden or Sera, but you find it in Drepung. They should really take down this signboard once and for all as it shows that they are not real practitioners and that they are discriminative.
